Braun NiMH AA Battery Set with Snap in Pins

Snapped right into place and started the shaver right up with a good amount of power coming from the shaver motor. These are hard-to-find batteries with the pins on both ends. The Braun Flex XP 5614 is an older model that can be refurbished using two of these new batteries with the snap-in feature- no soldering! Thank you Shaver Outlet for stocking these good replacement batteries.

This is 1 battery, not a "set." Based upon the title and photos, one would expect to receive 1 set, or 2, batteries. The description does say 1 unit, which could easily mean 1 set since we're talking about batteries. These same batteries are sold 4-5 other places for $20 and you receive an actual set of 2 batteries.

These batteries work great. I was able to replace my old batteries for the Braun 4700 series electric razor with these batteries.

Back in the 1990s my parents gave me some birthday money and so I bought a Braun Shaver. I used it ever since. But in the last several years (who am I kidding...the last decade or longer) the thing just wouldn't hold a charge an the only way to use the shaver is with it being plugged in....and that's not the way these were designed! Soon a lark, I checked to see if the batteries could be replaced. Imagine my surprise when I saw that these were just standard AA rechargeable with weird knobs on the ends. And I could get the replacement batteries here! In replaced the batteries and charged them overnight...the next morning this shaver was buzzing like it was brand new again! I believe I can get another 30 years out of this thing!

The batteries gave my old Braun 390cc-4 a whole new life.The knobs on each end fit perfectly in the razor's contacts.

This is sold as a "set" but is a single battery (and outrageously priced for that). Returning.
