Comparison with Ringke slim slender case and Google case
I bought three cases for Pixel 2 XL:* Ringke Bevel* Ringke Slim (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0792PL2NR) case.* Google Pixel 2 case (fabric case)I've initially used Google Pixel 2 XL case (fabric), but it is staying in my drawer because the touch feel is not great. Despite it being a fabric case, the feel of its surface is compared to touching a card board box than fabric and it is actually slippery. So I decided to try Ringky cases (Bevel - grey and Slim - black).* Bevel case link: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B075SYVV3M* Slim case link: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0792PL2NRBoth of Ringke cases are great, but here are a few differences.Wieght:* Slim case is slightly lighter. The actual weight difference might even be close to nothing, but it feels much lighter when holding the phone due to Slim case's design.Buttons:* Slim case exposes them, but feels more natural to press buttons. And notch feels good when you hold the phone.* Bevel case covers them. It does not make it too hard to press buttons, but slightly less natural than Slim case.Grip/Touch feeling:* Slim case (Black) offers better grip/feeling than Bevel. Despite the texture of Bevel, the material used in Slim case feels way better at your finger.* Bevel is not too bad, but if you hold it long, your sweat will make its back slippery.Look* Bevel's back is eye catching and shows back of the phone. Front is as boring as any other clear TPU case.* Slim case's front looks very good as it is not adding much to the phone. The back is dull looking and finger print magnet, but touching it feels great.Protection* It feels Bevel will provide slightly better protection due to TPU material.* However, I like to add a note that I have dropped my Nexus 5x phone with Ringke slim case multiple times and it surprisingly offered great protection despite how slim it is.So overall either choice is good, but if you care about the look of front, lightness of case, and how it feels on your hand, I suggest to go with Slim case. If you like the back design of case, then Bevel is good as well.I am keeping both of Ringke cases.Oh.. using Ringke cases with the lanyard is great idea. Easier to pull phone out of your tight pocket and feels safer when holding them.

Small brand, small price, exceptional quality and satisfaction.
I love this case. It goes on my white pixel XL2 and since it's clear, for whatever reason it makes my phone just look really really good. Also, with the engravings on the back, it makes it super easy to hold onto, which I had trouble with initially because it's an XL. The case is also really slim, but still feels like it's protective. Now, as for whether it is a good protective case, that remains to be seen. I don't necessarily trust any case to protect my phone from drops because the damage I'm worried about would be internal. However, like I said earlier, it's really easy to hold on to your phone with this case, so drops should be very very rare. Another thing I like about this case is it slides in and out of your pocket easily. The case is rubberish, but it's not like a super grippy rubber you'd see with other cases. Also, the case lines up so well with the phones that it doesn't hinder any of the buttons on the side of the phone. It makes them quite easy to press, but you still need to push them. Don't fret, you won't be turning the volume up and down in your pocket if that's what you were worried about.I came into this product with low expectations because it was like $12. But this has been a tremendous product so far, and probably one of my most favorite phone cases I've owned ever. I would definitely buy from Ringke again in the future and wouldn't think twice about doing it.PS. I had a zizo "military" grade case before this and I prefer this by far. Looks better, feels better, and over satisfaction is better. Also, it's hard to find pixel XL 2 cases in general, so this case is spectacular for what it can do, what it offers, and it's price!

Good enough, but not my favorite
If I gave my real rating of this case, it would be 3 stars. It's okay. It's not especially grippy, and I think being grippy is the first defense against phone damage by preventing a drop altogether. But it's reasonably protective for a cheap case, and I think it will be fine for anyone who wants something slim and inexpensive. The angled lines on the back are stylish. I'd probably like it more if there were better--opaque--colors. I prefer more protection, and more grip.I actually only bought this because the case I really wanted (the Incipio DualPro) was going to take a few days, and I refuse to use my new phone at all until I have a case. Won't even power it up. This worked well enough for those two or three days, but when my gorgeous red DualPro arrived, I tossed this one aside and haven't used it since. Thought I might pull it out sometimes just for a change, or for a very slightly slimmer look, but no. The red DualPro is my favorite case of any I've ever owned, and I've owned a ton. Note that it cost twice as much as the Ringke.
