The frame is easy to set up & use. The colors are bright, and the images are crisp. The only thing I don't like is that everyone the link is shared with to upload images has the ability to delete images from the app. Other than that, it's perfect! Frame turns off when it's dark in the room, and goes on automatically when the sun comes up, or the lights are turned on.

I am a photographer, and this is an outstanding digital frame. I have tried several others and this is clearly better, at least for me. First, the aspect ratio is 4:3; other frames are odd sizes, some approaching 16:9, and the larger digital frames are all 16:9. That’s an awkward aspect ratio for portrait-oriented images, although it is fine for landscape images. Most of my work is 4:3, so the Aura frame works well for me. Second, it is easy to manage the images on the frame, including uploading, through the web browser (www.app.auraframes.com). I use Lightroom on a Mac, and it’s easy to right-click to see where an image is in Finder, and then drag that directly to the web browser interface. Third, the settings for the frame are done on the app, which is only available on mobile devices (not my computer). That’s OK, though - I’m happy to use a phone or an iPad to set the timing of the slideshows and the like. The key for me was being able to upload from my computer without stepping through a mobile device. Fourth, the web browser interface appears to compress files somewhat when uploading. I downsize my files to 300K before uploading (LR: export, set max file size), which is fine for a digital picture frame and makes them pretty small to start with. The Aura compression doesn’t noticeably affect the perceived quality when the images appear in the frame. I recommend this frame. I would have opted for a larger size (this is 15” diagonal) if I could have found one with a 4:3 aspect ratio; if Aura ever makes a larger size I will upgrade.

We are very pleased with this picture frame. The images are sharp and bright. The frame works very well We do have fast internet, which probably helps quite bit. My wife and i have thousands of photos on our phones. There are memories of family, friends ,travel, art experiences, nature and wildlife pictures, and they live in the phones or the cloud. Basically they are hidden there. We have the frame on our family room mantle and curate the photos from the phone to find things we want to see frequently. It is a delight to see these photos pop up through the day. Periodically we change the photos to keep things interesting. The app that accompanies the frame is excellent. It is easy to upload photos, and adjust them for best viewing on the picture frame. We both have the app and can manage the frame together. Our children can contribute to the images from their homes as the app is web based. We really enjoy the ability to review experiences that were previously sequestered in our phones and tablets. Sharing the frame allows my wife and I and our family to collaborate in the process. The pictures are presented beautifully and the app is well thought out. Highly recommended

We love this frame! It has become my go to present for new grandparents, family members and colleagues. The app makes it easy to use and add photos from anywhere from anyone who has permission to add photos. The display is clear and crisp and it turns off when it gets dark saving on electricity.

Digital frames like this used to be cheap and never really that appealing. The size and quality of this one makes it worthwhile, and I've given it as a gift a couple times. The social aspect of being able to add photos to friends frames works well. Some interface improvements could be made, and it would be even better to have the backlighting adjustable, but still like it.

A truly amazing digital photo frame. Whilst the frame and display is superb, it does not reflect the £299 cost. Syncing photos from accounts and managing photos is totally seamless, and very intuitive and once you start to use it, it is clear that is where a good portion of the £299 was spent. There are lots of cheaper alternatives and at the end of the day, the hardware is going to be some LG or Samsung screen with some other hardware bits. The real value is the software this is packaged with and no subscription either. If the various digital frame I owned in the past, this is ahead by a few miles. Only regret, I hesitated when it was reduced on prime day but still worth the £299 all day. 15" display does dominate the space it's in but in a nice way. I'll will be on the look out for the new 12" when offers come up.

Wonderful product. Elevating our photos to art in a room we don’t normally want to have pictures. Transferring photos and videos is a breeze and the unlimited storage facility is a USP. I have bought a number of these in smaller versions for friends and family. Having recently discontinued use of the pervasive social media platforms, I love the fact that this can be your own private social media. Wonderful item.

I love that you can upload pictures from any phone and from anywhere, it's truly the best! I received it as a gift for my birthday from my husband, and I’ve connected it to our family room; we all enjoy those moments throughout the day. I'm not very tech-savvy, but I have found it easy to upload pictures. You can also authorize specific people to upload photos to the frame. Make sure to program the order of the photos chronologically. You can see the date each photo was taken by simply tapping the top of the frame.
