Looks exactly like images. The 8x6 inch one is I think the perfect size for daily journal use. Pros - well made (and handmade too which is awesome) - real leather (soft and sturdy texture) - blot-free paper (i have used a gel, ink, and regular ballpoint. No bleed at all) -strong paper. It feels hard to rip which is good because binding of pages is using leather twine. For scrappers i guess this means it can hold glue and sticky tape well - looks bada$$. Whether you want to channel your inner medieval adventurer or love out your dreams for making a grimoir, the journal delivers. - there is a thoughtful surprise inside for the sentimental… (no spoilers) Cons/quirks (for some people) - It’s does have a bit of an old paper and leather smell/scent. Nothing too bad in my opinion, it’s actually a bit nostalgic. - the rugged edges are not for everyone. But if you don’t mind, it is actually done really well. Perfectly imperfect I wish I could upload a photo. Just take my (very long) word for it.

Cover is made of real leather. Pages are hand made, have uneven edges like worn off book, have authentic smell of old damp paper. I absolutely recommend this product to anyone who wants to have unique notebook or diary. Leather cover is thick and promises durability. Paper is handmade so if you write using fountain pen you will get bit of bleeding but this is expected with this paper. I absolutely love this product. It IS NOT a cheap, fake product - It looks and feels really well. Highly recommended.

Can't say enough good things about this Leather Journal. Every time I use it I feel like I'm writing in Indiana Jones' journal from the first three movies. If you're old enough to have seen those movies, you know what I mean, if you're not, first, go see the movies, and second, it feels like something that's old and full of secrets and history, yet it's blank, ready for you to fill it with whatever you want. The paper quality is great, but it will feather as it is not standard notebook paper. Oil vs alcohol inks will behave wildly differently than you expect if you haven't worked with this type of material before. I suggest experimenting before committing to a specific ink or paints, etc. Binding is spot on, leather is worn and has character, smells fantastic. Makes a great gift. I have ordered half a dozen over the last year, and intend to keep going. Everyone I've given them to has loved it.
