I purchased these mini sharps containers for a recent trip with my daughter, who has Type 1 diabetes, and they were exactly what we needed. Traveling with diabetes supplies can be stressful, especially when it comes to safely disposing of used needles and lancets, but these gave us peace of mind. The containers are compact and discreet—small enough to fit in her diabetes bag or a carry-on without taking up much space. Despite the size, each one held a surprising amount, and the lids close securely so we didn’t have to worry about anything poking through or coming open during the trip. They were TSA-friendly, easy to use, and helped us maintain safety and cleanliness while on the go. Perfect tiny size pen needle disposal for car, purse and/or travel. Takes a minute to figure out how to use it properly, but not a big deal. Nice and tight fit for unscrewing the pen needles.

I like this small sharps container, which is easy to use and just the right size for my purposes. My only complaint is that when the container is full, the locking tab does not work very well. I end up having to tape the lid to secure it for disposal.

I love these things! I pretty much use pen needles exclusively for myself, but occasionally need to give my other half an IM shot. Of course, they're perfect for pen needles because there's a receptacle type thing in the inner lid that kind of locks on the needle to hold it when you unscrew the needle from the pen... then you slide the lock back and the needle falls into the actual receptacle. I use a pair of pliers to remove the IM needles from their syringes then I can just chuck those into the hole in the inner lid, easy peasy. These things have an outer lid that doesn't permanently lock until you flip the "lock" tab, which makes them perfect for every day carry or to keep in a desk drawer, etc. I keep one in my purse on days when I am going to be away from home for quite a bit longer than normal, so I can take my insulin on the go as needed and I don't have to worry about pricking my fingers when I reach into my purse for anything. They're also easy & safe to stash in a desk drawer if you need to take an injectable while you're at work. I highly recommend these for folks who take injectables on a regular basis if you're on the go or even if you have littles at home who aren't quite agile with their little curious hands yet.

Excellent. You can twist off the needle and it will go into the base. It can also take any kind of diabetic needle. Easy to carry small for trips or home.
