What country is this umbrella made?

Mine has a tag that reads “Designed in Brooklyn NY”. You flip the tag over and it it reads “Made in China”. Designed does not equal made.

Can someone confirm this will withstand high winds and not flip inside out?

Although I haven't been in a high wind situation, in interviews I've seen that is one of the reasons for the design. It is a sturdy and very well made umbrella.

What is the measurement when open. Im a bigger guy, and would like for ot to cover me?

Its about 3 feet not as big as a golf umbrella.

Is the color of the shaft black or silver/stainless steel?
