Skechers Sport Women's Skech Air Run High Fashion Sneaker

I purchased this shoe years ago and at first thought they were tight and they went to the back of the closet. I walk every day for one hour in the morning. At some point I decided to give them a try and once I started wearing them I LOVED them. No break in. I do have a narrow foot and while my feet have changed a bit over my life, a narrow width is still best for me. If I wear the industry "try to make one shoe fit every foot" medium I have to wear a thicker sock. I searched for this same shoe and was thrilled to still find them available on Amazon and bought a second pair. Will go back for another at some point if available.

I have narrow feet, but my true size in everything is a 8.5. I hardly wear these sneakers as they are too tight and slightly small in the tox box area. Everything fits tight, more like a definite size 8. I wish maybe I would have ordered a size 9, but I never take a size 9 in any shoe because that half inch is always way too big for my 8.5 feet.

Nice shoes. Not quite as wide as I would have liked. I changed out the shoelaces for some elastic laces and they fit much better now. They have a little more give when I walk.

My only choice for sports sneakers is Sketchers because they're so light-weight, and that's pretty much all I look for in a pair of sneakers. I used to own a Skechers pair long time ago that I loved so much that I wore the soles to nothing. So I was looking for a new pair, got these, and I love how light they are.Two things that I had to knock off a star for. For one thing, I hate how these new sneakers look. I guess all the holes are there in the fabric because they're "breathable" but I can't stand them. They just look ugly and awful. So I just pretend I don't see them...Second thing, the soles feel a bit slippery. I know these are "running" shoes so maybe they're not designed to be walked upon on normal streets or malls, but I was able to wear my old pair of Skechers running shoes anywhere and felt comfortable with how they gripped the ground. With this pair, they feel precarious so I'm not sure I'd be able to wear them safely when I go on a hiking trail.Otherwise, I just like how light they are on my feet.

ETA: I wore these for three straight 16 hour days at the Disneyland Resort where I was walking from the Disney hotel to the theme parks each morning, sometimes back to the hotel in the afternoon, and back to the park at night. I wore them again for another 12 hour day doing miscellaneous things, including packing the car and shopping at Downtown Disney. They were incredibly comfortable. I didn't have any sore spots or blisters at all. I did wear them with dry fit socks, which is supposed to help with blister issues. Regardless, I don't think I would have any blisters because these fit so nicely on my foot. Not once did my feet get tired, and I was also pushing 90 pounds of kids in a double stroller almost the whole time. My feet weren't sore, my ankles weren't sore, and my back didn't hurt. I have arthritis in my back, and most likely also in my feet and knees. I've had this issue since I was young. So it is incredible I found shoes that could keep me pain free.One thing I did want to update was the issue of them being slippery. They are slippery on slick pavement. One morning there was a very light mist, not a pure rain. The pavement was slightly wet, not puddling, but wet. These were very slippery. I was hoping the extra nonslip spots on the sole would help, but they really didn't. I wish Skechers would address this issue, because it could be dangerous, especially considering many of their customers wear their shoes to help with medical issues.____________________________________________________________________________________________________________Original review:These shoes are so comfortable I ordered two of every color! I have very difficult feet to fit. I call them duck feet, because they are very flat and boney at the front with a narrow heal. My foot is medium width, but my heal is narrow. Despite the extreme cushiness, I can't wear any of the Go Walk line because the heal slips off my foot. These shoes, Skechairs, fit me very nicely.I ordered my regular Skechers size, which is 8.5, and I wear them with a cushioned dry fit sock. They aren't too small at all. They fit perfect with no slippage at the heal to create sore sports or blisters or just make it hard to walk. For reference, in most other shoe brands I am a 9, but I wear 8.5 in Skechers.The other thing I like about these specific Skechair model is the exta non-slip spots on the sole. Some of the other air models can be a bit slippery on slick, wet surfaces. I think these ones will work out better. I haven't personally tested them on slick pavement, but they are definitely more grippy.These are the perfect shoes for me! So comfortable being light with memory foam inside. Grippy sole so I don't slip. Size right on with no slippage at the heal! I love them!

I have been wearing these for years. I work on concrete floors and my feet don't hurt at all. I wish they would sell them in stores again.

I have Very high arches. Had corrective surgery on my feet at 16 to help correct that. Broke my fifth metatarsal three years ago and ended up with plantars fasciitis and Achilles tendinitis.and nerve pain. These are the only shoes I have found that I can wear and believe me I have tried a lot of shoes. Fortunately for me Amazon has free returns. I keep trying to find another shoe that I like because I’m afraid this is going to become unavailable. The insoles remove so that I can put custom insoles in. The air sole give me just enough cushion without being too soft. The toebox is wide enough but not too wide and the top of the shoe is low enough that it doesn’t rub my bony ankles. I would love to say that they magic and have cured my foot problem but the truth is they make my life less painful and I walk 1 to 3 miles every day. Some days are better than others .

I've been using these for my daily runs for a few months now and I am so happy I purchased them. They making running so much easier. The cushion supports very well, the stitching has held up to where these are still like the first day, and maintenance on them is a breeze with no fading or any type of damage occurring at all (definitely quality stitching!).

Don’t know how the fit as I purchased for a gift but visually stunning and fantastic price. Would highly recommend
