Works ad Intended - Longer Lasting than Identical Temporary Tattoos
So, I've become kinda a defacto temporary tattoo connoisseur and have used many different brands and styles now so I do know the what's what when it comes to it.I have used DaLin before with varying degrees of success. Typically, the problem I have is with the initial adhesion of the tattoo. Some manufactures, produce temps that won't even adhere to the skin even if it is prepped properly. This particular product was no exception, but the longevity of the product was remarkable which is why I gave it the 5 stars - this product (blue-paper-backed) lasted significantly longer on my skin than temps. without the blue-backing. It held out better after showering, and even against mechanical aggression (ie clothes took longer to wear it down). So here I give DaLin a "Great Job" recognition for creating a product that is true to its name. The caveat: Keep in mind the adhering this product is still tricky and you'll want to maximize it's ability to adhere to your body for the best results. To do that, make sure you follow these prep steps:1. Shower, or clean with soap and water the area where the tattoo will be applied -2. Shave - the area should be COMPLETELY FREE OF HAIR, not even peach fuzz should be there3. Without removing the plastic covering, position the tattoo on your body and crunch in areas where the image will be bending (if you haven't done a large temporary before it may be helpful to have another person help you with it) - this will help you identify the same position you want it to be in after you remove the plastic and expose the glue because after you exposed the glue it needs positioned quickly as the air will dry the glue.4. Cut the image out of its larger rectangle leaving at least 3-6mm of space from the edge of the image to where you cut it - this allows for blank areas to distort and break away first, which protects the image.5. Pre-soak a sponge with plenty of water, a Brillo-backed sponge is best.6. Keep your arm, and the tattoo straight-down at your side. You may way to angle it to follow what seems to be a more natural direction in your am, but this will only cause the image to twist around your arm and look funky.7, Stand in the shower, tub, or over a tile-floor or somewhere that is ok to get wet.8. Remove the plastic backing and use the wrinkles from earlier in your cut out to position the temp. on your body, press firmly, and make sure the temp. stays straight - do not bend of move this arm, the temp should be flat as possible however there may be fold-overs near the shoulder - this is normal and fixable.9. Use the pre-soaked sponge to first apply copious amounts of water over the entirety of the temp, - be careful not to press down too hard at this point, some areas will adhere faster and easier than others. The edges and very centers of the image will most-likely adhere LAST.10. DO NOT USE EXCESSIVE MECHANICAL AGITATION at this point - it will cause the backing and/or image to tear causing holes in the image.11. Taking care not to bend the arm with the temp., gently use the sponge to press down areas of the image where there is no visible adhesion and work from center-out, bottom-top gently smoothing the areas and ensuring they are wet enough to have transferred to the body, when the backing sheet begins to exhibit slippage, the image is transferred. The shoulder-areas are likely to have pop-ups or fold-overs - as parts of the image become adhered, simply apply more water with the sponge and gently smooth out the area - this takes some practice.12. Once the temp. is completely wet, but before the backing begins slipping completely, use the briilo-side of the sponge to apply light mechanical agitation over the entire image to en sure a complete transfer.13. Firmly press-down and wet areas that do not appear to have transferred (they are the areas where the backing still sticks).14. When you believe you are done, slowly begin to remove the backing (with a complete adhesion you can let the backing simply fall off). If you notice that an area of the image is being pulled-up with the backing - stop, reapply and re-wet the backing in that area, and then slip as much of the remaining backing over this area as you remove the rest of it - I will try to make a video showing what I mean here.Ta-da! Now you have a realistic-looking temp. tattoo that will help you test-drive your real one or for whatever reason you have it.Now for longevity, to prolong it's life:1. Avoid wearing clothes over the area for as long as possible, wear light clothes with soft edges - WEAR CLOTHES THAT YOU WONT MIND EITHER BEING RUINED OR OUT OF COMMISSION FOR A WHILE. The temps. can easily stick to clothing (and bedding) and may take a LONG TIME for fully wash out.2. When showering gently rinse with soap and water but do not use excessive mechanical agitation.3. Pat-dry gently after showering.4. Do not rest the image on other parts of the body (ie. if it is on your arm and goes around your elbow do not rest your elbows on your knee - the image and glue are oliophilic meaning that it wants to adhere to your skin and will attempt to transfer, through stickiness to other skins - especially if this skin has imperfections or hair - TRUST ME - separating elbow from the knee will feel like ripping duct tape off your body, will tear out hair, and destroy the image - do not rest elbows on knees!)5. Do not attempt to layer images - this will cause clue clumping and destroy the image.WARNINGS:1. Wear clothes to cover the entire tattoo when sleeping, I suggest breathable water-wicking material. This will allow you to protect your sheets because YOU WILL DESTROY BEDSHEETS IF YOU DON'T, and also will allow you to re-wet the image to protect it when removing the clothing.2. IF YOU HAVE PETS, USE EXTREME CAUTION when the image begins to break away. Little clumps of glue and ink will form small black balls that STICK TO CARPET, AND ESPECIALLY STICK TO PET HAIR CAUSING NAPPY, and PAINFUL CLUMPS TO DEVELOP IN THEIR FUR. So protect Fluffy and Fido by have petroleum jelly on hand once you notice significant degradation of the image. The best, and easiest way to remove the image to to apply copious amounts of the jelly to the area and applying light and consistent mechanical agitation to the image before and during a shower. Remember, it is oliophilic, therefore the oils in the jelly will cause it to disintegrate. MAKE SURE TO HAVE SOME SORT OF FILRTERING PLUG near the shower drain to prevent the clumps from making their way into your pipes. When you are done showering simply use a paper towel to collect the clumps and throw away.I hope I haven't talked you out of using the product though - I have found them to be incredible useful in making decisions for what I want my real tattoos to be - and they are fun too!So, long story short, if you take care when applying and removing these temporary tattoos, they are a great product. I give them and A+. GOOD JOB DALIIN!

Wow! So realistic that I fooled close friends!
I haven't messed around with temporary tattoos in years. The last ones I used were difficult to apply, dried up and cracked apart the same day they were applied, and peeled & flaked off easily. With that in mind, I didn't have high expectations about these, but I was in for a pleasant surprise. My band was performing at an 80s themed event and I wanted to go all out with my look. I tried on the small sample tattoo that was included in the package, and it went on easily. Later that day I thought I'd see how easily it would come off and tried scrubbing it with a washcloth. It was completely unaffected. In fact, it wasn't until the 3rd day that I could more easily remove it using makeup remover and a warm water. Wow! Impressive.I worried that the large sleeve tattoos were going to be very difficult to apply to my arms without getting wrinkles or creases, but that was not the case. I had help applying them. They went on perfectly, even around me elbows. They looked so real that I could have easily fooled anyone. Old tattoos looked fake and plastic-like. These looked, felt and moved just like real ones. I'm very impressed.Removing them is a pain though. Again, it was finally on the third day that these were easier to remove, but still difficult. I'm ok with that for how well they work, and how good they look.

They look great but hard to apply alone
I bought these temporary tattoos for a play. They are a bit hard to apply, as they are so large we needed 2 people other than the person wearing them to apply them correctly. Once on, they looked great on stage. They are believable and last about 3 days or more depending on the darkness of the original image. Once they start to fade, they do look muddy. Removal did take some effort. I needed to use a makeup solvent, rubbing alcohol and baby oil to remove them. I would use these again.

Great Looking Hard Removing
These worked great for me! Application with warm water was simple and effective. I wore these for a Where’s Waldo style teen activity at our local mall, and these were perfect! Here are some Pros and Cons:Pros - Putting these on couldn’t be easier. Soak a towel with warm water and wrap it around your arm. 20-30 seconds later the tattoo will be adhered. These things look pretty real; I had at least 6 strangers at the mall ask me where I got my tattoos done - Amazon is a strange answer to that question! I used 2 separate tattoo sheets on my right arm to make it look full. 1 will not fill up your arm unless you are really skinny.Cons - These things do NOT come off!! If that’s what you are looking for then great, if not then beware. I needed this for 1 night and they are still more than 50% on after 2 days of scrubbing. I’ve tried baby oil, vinegar, rubbing alcohol, soap & water, etc. I’ve rubbed until skin started to come off, and they are still visible! Good job making these tattoos last!Tips - cut the pages down, there’s a lot of excess paper. Have help; this is not a solo application job. Keep your arm straight during application and drying, even with this you may end up with some cracking at the elbow. After drying, rub baby powder lightly over the tattoo. This takes away some shine and makes it look more embedded.

Ok for last minute needs
I cut one in half and used as a lower sleeve. If you’ve never put fake tats this size on before, I’d suggest getting a friend to help. The tat also bubbles when you apply it, so I’d suggest cutting some tiny slits into a few places on the sides to help the tat bend to your arm.The tat is also very sticky after application. I tired Using setting powder and matte setting spray to remove the shine and the sticky, but didn’t help much. When you bend your arm, the tattoo sticks to the skin in the crease by your elbow and starts to fade off (see top of picture).I wore this all day in Florida weather and I’d say it worked for my needs. Prob won’t buy again. The quality of some of the tattoo pictures is also questionable. For example, the top of the tattoo i used was blurry and was low-res.I did get a ton of compliments, though!
