Big bang theory Behind the scenes
A behind-the-scenes documentary is what this is. Got to know many amazing things. Even YouTube channels keep repeating the same unknowable truths. I wish Sara Gilbert and Aarti Mann were featured here for a few pages at the very least. I had no idea that Jim and Simon were so close in real life, especially with Johnny being an emotional person. In the past 6-7 years, there hasn't been a day when I haven't seen an episode or scene of the show, and there never will be. We appreciate everyone who worked on making this show possible.

A Thorough, Loving History Recounting the Popular Sitcom
The story behind the creation and eventual success of The Big Bang Theory is given a full explanation here, with in-depth interviews with all the cast, its producers (including creator Chuck Lorre), some guest stars and a few backstage personnel. There’s also context given with what was happening with CBS and the show’s production company, Warner Bros., at the same time, giving it a fuller perspective than many books about TV shows lack, like what happened on the set was all that matter. Author Jessica Radloff clearly is a fan who at the same time is willing and able to discuss what she feels are flaws with the series, and she gives everyone a fair shot to agree with her or defend their opposite position. It may be too detailed in some aspects for only casual viewers of the show (for example, there’s one chapter alone devoted to the spinoff Young Sheldon, which was much more than I expected), but it’s better to err with too much info than too little for those hardcore ones, in my opinion. Couple that with a rich assortment of backstage photos and the result is a very entertaining and easy book to read. Highly recommended to pop culture fans in particular.
