Simple way to get much longer distance
With these adapters its easy to do away with the factory cables that cant be adjusted in length to get a cable that is the perfect length. Also makes it easy to have everything nicely hardwired into the home.

Cheap/possibly dangerous item! Dont waste your $
One star because I can't go lower. Installed the first set of these and the camera didn't work. Tried a different camera, tested the ethernet cable. They were all good and still didn't work. Went to switch to the 2nd set of baluns and the power for the first set pulled right out. Turns out it was burning. Glad it didn't catch on fire. Installed the 2nd set. And they didn't work either. Out of morbid curiosity installed the 3rd set from and the camera finally started working. I'm not going to use it because that first one burned up. No idea if the 4th set works. I'm not even going to bother trying. Going to get a "Night Owl" one tomorrow.

Made my old system new!
I didn’t know these existed...what an amazing product! I bought a new house that had cat 5e installed in the walls outside for cameras. I used these to make it work! Works like a charm! These do not change your cameras to digital!!

Worked great
Used the combination video and power cables before but decided to try these so I could use cat 5 cables. I ran about 110 feet of cat 5 cable and the picture quality is great, adding the audio is a nice bonus.

BNC Power Transmitters
BNC Power Transmitters and Recevier worked good for hooking to my security cameras no problem.
