Q: I bought this for my girlfriend while deployed. She just received it and said that the mirror looks like a "circus" mirror in a fun house and I'm worried that it is warped. Is there a protective film over the mirror that she perhaps forgot to take off or did anyone else have this problem?

I have the same problem … it’s a messed up protective film …. But something must have warped it or messed it up to where you cannot pull it off without damaging the glass. If anybody finds out how to do this please post I’m going to try some warm water and some other stuff… The quarter inch around the messed up protective film is regular glass… Something must’ve happened to where it nearly welds the protective film to the glassware it’s almost inseparable

Q: is the mirror glass or plastic?

Glass. I ordered 3. It is a pretty nice cabinet. My only complaint was the $30.00 for Shipping and handling. The handling fee pushes the actual price of the cabinet up a little. Otherwise I am happy with the units.

Q: is it solid wood or particleboard?

It's both. The main frame is solid wood but the back is particleboard but don't let that worry you, it's very well built and looks great. My wife loves it
