I'm still in the learning curve. I like the system and my plants are doing well.
I had some trouble with the power cord fitting into the light was the only problem.

Great system now that my issues were resolved
2.8.23 UpdateKudos to the VIVOSUN support team. After reading the review they promptly reached out to me and acknowledged the issue by replacing my broken control panel. The new unit had a magnetic plate which was MUCH thicker than the original and now the control panel is firmly secured in place. There was an unexpected bonus with the new controller too. It had a USB-C to molex dongle that let me connect my exhaust fan from the other brand. So I ended up buying a 2nd smart grow light for my other grow tent 👍🏿Original ReviewI went back and forth between the VIVOSUN Smart Grown and the 'other' major brand, which also has a connected lighting & cooling controller. They were comparable on paper, but ultimately I selected VIVOSUN because they were more innovative with their app and capability to connect with the controller over WiFi. You could only connect to the other brand over Bluetooth.VIVOSUN - If you want to reach out to address these issues with me, I will happily update this review. The system app is excellent; it has preset grow programs and is primarily intuitive. Unfortunately, I can't say the same for most of the connected hardware, which has several design flaws. My number one complaint is that the controller is held in place by embedded magnets and a metal plate you place on the inside of the tent. This first and most critical design flaw is that the magnets are too weak to hold the controller securely!!! I noticed this during the assembly and, in hindsight, wished I had stopped assembling at that moment and returned it. You have to manipulate the controller over the plate to find the sweet spot for maximum grip, which, even in that spot, barely holds if the tent isn't disturbed. I was concerned about this, so I placed a cell phone mounting magnet on the plate for extra grip. This was far better but ultimately turned out not to be good enough. A couple of weeks after I had everything up and running, I was tending in the tent and heard a subtle "CLAP" noise. After bringing my head out, I saw the controller on the ground, and you guessed it, the screen was cracked :(I wouldn't recommend this system to anyone without padded floors unless you have an excellent way to secure the controller. My tent is on a concrete garage floor covered with outdoor carpet. It didn't hit that hard based on the sound I heard, so aside from the mounting security issue, the display might be fragile in general. The mounting security of the controller is further challenged by all of the connecting cables coming out of the bottom. I used a cable wrap to create a tidy single cable bundle, leading me to the next design flaw. The only way to route cables to the controller is through the vent holes. I routed mine through the upper back vent of the tent down and along the side, then up to the bottom of the controller. There is no system to secure the cables to the tent or tent frame, so the controller mount has to bear the extra cable weight in addition to the weight of the controller itself. If the tent had some way to securely hold and manage the last 2 - 3' of cable, at least if the controller got knocked off the magnet, it would be saved from hitting the floor by the hanging cables. The last design flaw I will mention is that the straps that hang and secure the filter and blower fan are very flimsy. Flimsy, meaning that the material is too thin and so the buckles won't lock to hold your filter and fan straps in place. I decided to deal with this by tying a knot with the strap ends. It's not pretty, but what would be uglier is opening the tent one day to find the blower fan or filter on top of my crop! Here are some of the positives1. The tent itself is solid and sturdy feeling. The zippers feel secure and move smoothly. I like all of the strong velcro window and vent covers, and there are also integrated velcro straps that nicely hold the door out the way when you have it unzipped open.2. The integrated grow light \ fan has a nice premium feel. The ratcheting cables have front-facing buttons, which makes it easy to control up and down. The hangers are well-secured to the light, and the rigid wire has a hoop so that the fan stays level while hanging. It's quiet, and the crop seems to enjoy the brightness.3. As I mentioned earlier, the App has good features and is simple to use. It's not overly complicated, and it has an excellent calendaring feature that lets you program all of your grow cycles. The only other thing I wished it had is an API for system control and data export of all the sensors, fans, and light information.4. WiFi Connectivity - Even though I can't read the cracked display, I can still access everything through the App. So, while I am still upset about the display being broken, at least I can still control the systemIf VIVOSUN addresses the things I mentioned, it's an excellent total system for the money. Conversely, with the extra money you are paying for this system, it's unacceptable that cheap Penny parts are putting your investment and crop at risk.

Space Station Plant Care!!
Disclaimer: NO, I am not growing marijuana!! Tomatoes, overwintering peppers and sprouting various things, thank you.OK, this has me tech geeking out... Nice features, quality equipment. I love the "Natural Wind" setting for the circulation fan. The phone app is actually really nicely laid out and useful. Though you marijuana growers might be hesitant to put it on your WiFi - just kidding.I have a lot to explore here - now I have data as to temperature, humidity and can do some sort of control on that. My plants can't ask for more!Price: This is a luxury version plant growing controller system!! The price reflects that - and targets 'cash crops' IMO.
