Woodlands, Plush Squirrel, 8 in Squeaky Soft Stuffed, Dog Toy

My dog LOVED this toy; looks real, squeaks, is perfect size for a medium dog. It is sturdy and may last for many dogs, but my rough-playing Aussie eviscerated it within a few days.

I bought this for our "grandson"--a happy go lucky beagle--to play with while we were dogsitting. It took a while to motivate him to play with it, but eventually he caved... and then promptly proceeded to tear its insides out! I took a photo and sent it to my son, and he remarked, "Wow, it has been a long time since he played with a toy like that." So even an old hound past his prime enjoyed this toy. As for quality, this is a very well made toy. Yes, it's true that the dog ripped it to shreds, but that'll happen to any toy if the dog is determined enough. I was happy he enjoyed it. He also has two loofa dog toys here that he hardly ever touches, but this duck toy was too much for him to resist. My only suggestion is to supervise your dog while he plays with this. Besides the inner stuffing, the toy has a fuzzy surface to it, and you don't want him chewing a bunch of fuzz if he tears some out, as dogs are apt to do. Other than that, GREAT DOG TOY!

Stuffed animal (with squeaker) securely attached to rope hoop. Lasts a long time as a kind of frisbee. However, really an outdoor toy for active play, because when my dog has a chance to lie down comfortably this toy will get torn apart and shredded fast!!! (This is his third!) Can be repaired for awhile to prolong use with strong cotton carpet thread, but it is not immortal, so be advised.

Ever so slightly smaller than I expected but that’s really on me for not checking the measurements. It’s not too small anyway, so it’s alright. It’s definitely a very high quality material, my dog plays super rough with it and still has yet to make more than a very tiny hole (which was easy to stitch). It’s well-stuffed, super cute, and not too realistic but realistic enough to give that duck vibe. It’s built very sturdy, so I expect it will last a long time still. It survived its first two washes just fine as well as the dryer, and the quality of the fuzz hasn’t really gone down. Definitely worth the buy! Will absolutely buy a second one when he finally does destroy this one, since he’s obsessed with it. It’s his favorite toy (and honestly, mine too, it keeps him so entertained and it holds up wonderfully).

Don’t bother buying this if you are looking for a tough toy for a heavy chewer/tugger. I bought one of these toys in store locally last year and it is just now starting to show wear. This is amazing as my Penny girl usually destroys new toys within minutes of getting them as if it were an Olympic sport and she were determined to get the Gold! With that in mind, I decided I needed to get her another of these as it is her favorite toy. She carries it everywhere and plays with it multiple times a day! I was considering purchasing the multi-pack as I wanted to make sure she always has one of these nearby. In the end, I just purchased the one to make sure it was of the same quality as the one bought locally. It most definitely is NOT! Within five minutes, the rope was popped apart and five to ten more minutes later the chipmunk had sprung a leak. It was bleeding fluff everywhere. A few days later and all that is left is an unwound rope attached to a de-fluffed chipmunk. She does like it…hence the one star, but I am really disappointed.

Great throw toy. Once the dogs get bored they chew these to pieces to get the squeaker and stuffing out. They then chew ropes to and may swallow rope strands which may possibly cause intestinal problems. Know your dog! I only use supervised for throwing retrieving toy which they absolutely love to play with.

Cute little guy. We go to SantaCon every year and my hubby chose to be Clark Griswold from the scene where the squirrel jumps out of the Christmas tree and somehow the squirrel ends up on Clark's back. I saftey-pinned this little guy to the back of the sweater (pins inside and not at all noticable). We still have him and may use again for the same purpose.

Very well made, excellent materials, my terrier is loving playing with this and has not yet destroyed it as he would have normally done with in a couple of days, so having lasted a couple of weeks is amazing

This lasted my small dog one session of less than 1/2 hour before the rope separated from the tail very shoddy workmanship rope barely sewn on one side. Definitely not worth the $30.00 plus dollars.

My German shepherd loves this squirrel very well made looks very real arrived promptly .

Purchased as a Gift
