Nice feel fabric, cosy when warm water added. Not easy to get it in a comfy position but it does ease pain once you do

Extremely dangerous - I've been scalded twice
I have used hot water bottles for years but wanted to try this one for my neck as it's the perfect shape. However, I have only filled it twice and been scalded both times - the second time quite badly. The U shape makes it hard to hold whilst filling, and it constantly 'bubbles' back as the water doesn't flow past the bend. It's disappointing as I really loved the idea. I will go back to the long 'snake' shaped one - highly recommend that one.

Much too heavy when filled
I ended up with a terrible migraine after using this. I think it was the weight. I didn’t think beforehand that 1 litre of water is 1kg in weight, so 3 litres is a whopping 3kg on your neck. I also found that the water falls to the lowest points so that it’s not actually hottest on the neck itself and the flat shape also makes it difficult to get it to sit against your neck.The fabric cover is nice and soft and it has a zip to enable you to remove it and hand wash the cover. It is filled on one of the ends.It might be suitable to try on other parts of the body and can still be used to warm the bed.It is stamped with BS number and date of manufacture
