It's so true what they say, you only get what you pay for. I am a size 10 hand and theses fit like a glove, and are super comfy. Only down side is, my wife tried them on and now I have to buy her a pair for the gardening. ( Brambles and stuff )

Large size is perfect for use inside pizza ovens - moving logs/fuel by hand if you want - do it quickly of course as leather would still burn in time. I love them.

even though these where the largest one they sold they where still to small tight and restrictive and I wouldn't say I have the largest hands

I haven’t used gloves yet so I’ll update review after use if less than satisfactory. First as shown in photos the gloves are not 16” long. Measured with both a framing square and tape measure gloves are just under 15 1/5” long and I feel the description should give an accurate measurement of product that’s why the 4 star review! Personally half an inch doesn’t matter to me but it may matter to some potential buyers. The gloves fit well on my hands and all stitching appears to be good. Again reviewing before using this item may be misleading but so far I’m happy with purchase.

Bought these during the Black Friday weekend and they were advertised 2 pair for the price. Great deal. My wife and I use these to carry firewood into the house, and then put firewood into our wood stove. It does a GREAT job of protecting our hands and arms when putting wood in that hot stove. Much better protection than those oven mitts, better feel, last longer (the last pair lasted about 6 years), and just generally a better product for the job.

Update: These are really comfortable to wear and have become my BBQ grilling gloves. I can pick up anything on the grill no matter how hot it is and no longer do I need to look for hotpads or tongs to try to get something off the grill. I used to lose fingerprints on a regular basis. No more. Original review: And as their ad suggests, they really are soft inside and comfortable to wear. I immediately put them to the heat test, since my wife had left for her car restoration class - yup, she does a lot of welding and is fully restoring a '65 Mustang. The quiche had to come out of the oven and I decided why not try out these gloves? So after removing the quiche I put my hands into the oven and set them on the rack for 30 seconds. Now even heat-resistant materials will warm over time. But after 30 seconds I still was able to have my hands in there, although where I was holding the rack they were getting warm. No, it isn't welding, but I don't always use welding gloves for welding. I liked seeing this advertiser's ad, because there are so many uses for welding gloves. Best blackberry pullers I've ever found. And if I am working around metal items with sharp edges I always wear them. And working in concrete demolition where those chunks will rip the skin right off of your hands these gloves are invaluable. They really feel good on the hand, and I definitely needed their Large size. They have a pull strap on the wrist for tightening around your clothing and not allowing molten metal to get down into the gloves. You might sill end up with a hole in your clothing somewhere, but there is nothing worse than having a little chunk of metal burning away down in your glove. Yes, these are quite nice and will get considerable use.

Wow. I had a decent pair of Blackhawk nomex long-cuff gloves I used for grilling that are about at the end of their useful life. They did a decent job of keeping heat off, but not impervious to it. I like to have flexible 5-finger glove for dexterity when grilling, vs. a mitt or thicker glove that compromises dexterity. These gloves don't quite have the dexterity I'm after, but boy do they keep the heat off. It can be a little hard to flex fingers due to thickness of material. But for their intended purpose I'm sure they are awesome. Nice cuff strap to secure and dial in fit. Excellent value at this price.
