Good iron
Good piece of iron. Quite expensive but does the job. Takes about 2 minutes to warm up but once it does, it does the job. Uses a lot of water though. Donโt use hard water otherwise you will cause a lot of limescale. Cord length is decent. Quite heavy but you do get used to it

Great Iron
I love this iron for my new home โ itโs great quality and works really well. The only downside was that the box arrived damaged, which was a little disappointing.

Future of steam irons, no more temperature control
Had to buy a new steam iron since my previous Philips finally packed up after 12 years of solid service. Another great piece of innovation by Philips where the temperature is determined by the Iron based on the type of material you are ironing. Was skeptical initially, but so far has been working great, heats up quickly, quality built and importantly easy removal of a calcium build up. Would definitely recommend at this price.

This deserves the NEGATIVE reviews....
PLEASE READ THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS BEFORE PURCHASING. Bought this last year to replace yet another failing 'steam-generator' model. It worked OK. By OK I mean it was average. It worked, I guess, as in it ironed stuff. It also spat out water (and limescale) regularly - EVEN AFTER DESCALING (using the built-in descaling feature). Then, after about 8 months, it just stopped working. It won't heat up. At all. Contacted Amazon who are sending it for repair. I doubt that this will help much, as I've seen too many comments where the failure was deemed to be 'mis-use' and therefore not covered under warranty - so we'll see how that goes..... In summary, it's barely fit for purpose - and it's not a budget buy either!! **UPDATE** The iron was repaired under warranty - however when it was returned, the box was badly damaged and the iron went POP and tripped our entire house electrics on FIRST USE AFTER REPAIR. AVOID.

So far working well
Replacement for a previous Azur that started tripping the electricity, very annoying but nothing is repairable these days. So far so good with 2yr warranty.

Refurbished item?
Received item in a pretty damaged box, not sure if new or refurbished item.

seller has no common sense. Philips brand for ironโs ar always of good quality. One star for seller
When somehody in Australia orders, is it not common sense to ship Aussis power plug? Received with UK plug. If there was a converter, it would have been just ok.

Disappointing, was sold a used item for premium price.
The product delivered was visibly used, had water droplets in the water tank, so definitely filled with water previously for steaming. Retail package smashed, iron itself has scuffs all over, staining on bottom plate. Dont know how long it was used before it was returned by previous buyer but definitely want my money back.

Great quality, and awesome functionality
The iron is very good built quality, heavy enough to press on clothes but not too heavy to lift. The auto temperature and auto steam makes it easier to use. Would highly recommend.
