I used to think MagSafe was a gimmick…until I bought this thing.There have been many situations where it would be convenient to be able to prop my phone up. My wife has long had a case with a built-in loop type thing & she loves it. So, i thought “why not” and I’ll try this. If I hate it I can return it, and I loved that since it’s magnetic I can obviously detach it whenever I want too. It’s not as big a commitment as a case with a built-in Loop/Handle. Lol.Well, I NEVER detach this thing from my phone. I’m seriously never without it. i absolutely love it. The magnet is surprisingly strong and has never fallen off accidentally. The only way this thing falls off is when I’m wearing ONE specific backpack of mine, the straps of which seem to be custom-designed to sweep this right off the back of my phone. 🤬🤬But that’s the best part; even though this thing has hit the pavement multiple, multiple times, and I’ve owned it well over a year (longer?) it still functions as if it was brand new. I have NO clue how ESR engineered this thing so that the articulating parts stay so tight & firm, esp and even after CONSTANT, DAILY use, and a whole lot of drops, but holy cow - it’s amazing. This thing is SOLID and extremely well designed.It has taken some good dings / divots / scratches because of my stupid backpack brushing it off, but again; that’s my fault. Other than firmly being swept off, this thing holds like crazy, and even though it’s fallen dozens of times, it still works like new & doesn’t look THAT bad, all things considered. I’m still extremely happy with it, and still surprised how much I really love using this thing. it is just so darn handy.It also makes your phone a lot easier to hold for extended periods of time.Overall, 10/5 little device. If you have ever even had the slightest inclination to buy something like this, BUY IT! I am a long-time popsocket fanatic, but decided to give this ESR ring grip a try because my popsocket doesn't work as a stand in portrait mode. Well, I might be just using this ring grip because I LOVE IT.As a stand this ESR ring works in both portrait and landscape mode and, mostly importantly, it is incredibly sturdy in both positions.As a grip it is VERY comfortable and easily spins around so that it can be held in different positions. When not in use, it all folds in very close to the phone, with just a bit of protrusion. However, because the whole thing is sturdy, it doesn't seem to get caught on pockets.What I also like about this compared to my popsocket is that it gives me a better grip on the phone when trying to take pictures at different angles. Because it's a ring, there's no way I am going to drop my iPhone.I am using this with a Mous bamboo case and the magnets on this ring grip are VERY strong. No issues with it falling off.I cannot speak to the durability of this, as I just got it, but I am probably going to get a second one to have just because it's so functional.Update: I have been using this for a few months now. I like it so much that I purchased a second one in a different color to use with another case. While my popsocket is still a bit more comfortable to hold in my hand, this ESR grip is way more functional. Biggest benefit of this grip is that it can be used to stand the phone up in landscape or portrait mode, something popsockets and most other grips cannot do. It does get a little less stiff with use, but so far continues to function perfectly and looks great on the phone too.

The ring after a year is very loose it barely holds itself up. The magnet itself is pretty good not the strongest but pretty good. For 13$ this is a good product but the ring needs to be more durable

The item is stylist, sparkles, yet is super smooth for the fingers when using. It combines elegance and functionality all in one! It is VERY sturdy (not flimsy like many others) and can adjust for pretty much any viewing angle for your phone too! If you want a very great quality ring magnet holder this is the one! Since I got my S24 Ultra and case with a MagSafe backing. I decided to get a grip for it. It helps hold onto it better when out walking, daily usage and so forth. Works great as a kickstand too for landscape viewing if your partial to watching movies from whatever streaming site. My only drawback is having to take it off to use my MagSafe car mount. But otherwise, it works like a charm.

I liked the idea of having both a grip for my phone that could double as a stand. It's really good at the former and mediocre at the latter. If you're going for horizontal, the stand is great. Sturdy and reliable. If you want vertical, however, I'd avoid this product. At first, it was pretty good but over time the hinge gets looser and looser and the phone leans further and further back such that it becomes pretty annoying to actually look at your phone vertically. At the beginning, it stood up straight enough for FaceID to see me. Now it doesn't. I don't think the hinge is going to come off or anything. I think it's securely in place, but it's loose now and that makes it bad for using as a vertical stand. I don't regret the purchase, as I'll still use it as a grip but I've had to purchase a different MagSafe device to use as a vertical stand at my desk.

Having gotten several magsafe handles, this is my favorite. It's strong and the hinges havn't gotten loose at all in the couple of months that I've been using it. It sticks well to the magsafe case I got for my Pixel 8a. It has dropped off a couple of times when I fidget with it or stick it to my phone through my pants pocket. It's gotten a couple of dings, but the surface is pretty durable. The one weakness is it's a little hard to fold out one handed. Overall, it's been fantastic.

I didn't know what to expect with something in the magsafe line. A magnet strong enough to use but able to come off with some force. It's a fine line and this works. It's easy to apply to the right case, a bit awkward at first but fits to your comfort level. It's very flexible with functionality as you can fold it out to suit your needs. It folds down nicely and the design means it won't be too much of an incumbrance.
