Although I would have preferred an original music platform from Switzerland (Reuge), the platform is no longer being produced. I was impressed with the tone quality, and my customer is quite appreciative as well. Thank you for fast service and a good product.

My wife told me a couple of years ago that she never had a music box as a little girl, so for this Christmas I am making her the music box she should have had decades ago. I have purchased 3 different music movements 2 from other companies and this movement, out of the 3 this movement has a better quality sound, and plays the longest on a single wind up.

When they came in I was expecting them to be louder. We were going to make jewelryboxes for our grandbabies with them inside them. We opted out. We will figure something else to put them into.

Found a movement with the correct tune. Works okay, after a little adjusting. Not a job for the ham-fisted.

Barely audible when first out of the box, but created a nice rich tone when mounted...the on/off wire and mechanism is delicate to work with, I ultimately chose not to use it....would definitely recommend.

Un Bel Di was our wedding song, so my husband gave me a Madam Butterfly music box for our 10th anniversary. That was 30 years ago! Sadly, the movement broke and nobody around here could fix it. One guy online wanted to charge us $400 to fix it, which was ridiculous (I'm not THAT sentimental!). Then we saw this movement on Amazon with Un Bel Di and decided to try to fix the music box ourselves. Watched a couple of Youtube videos to learn how to replace the movement and-- presto-- now it works again. Good product, excellent instructions. Thank you!

I have added it to the Advent Houses I have crafted for our family. It's a real surprise when you open door #25 and hear the music box playing a Christmas carol.
