I am so happy I decided to try these. There's a review one person left that talked about how awake he felt, they kept him up through the night and into the next day, without the jittery feeling caffiene can cause. He did mention taking them at night. I was looking for focus and mental energy, primarily, but welcome all the benefits that mushrooms provide. I've been taking for one week now. I am only taking one, every morning with water and a breakfast bar. I feel exactly as I was hoping, awake and focused. I work in accounting and this is very important to me. I also feel quite relaxed, very pleasant. I'm happy to work, I'm happy to take care of responsibilities at home after work. I also am not experiencing any side affects to date. My husband swears by these. Before starting these he had horrible stomach issues. It was so bad we thought he might have Chron’s Disease. His stomach issues were really effecting his daily life. Made me really anxious couldn't take continuous. Don't know if the work or not. Also upset my stomach a little. Take with food if you buy. However they completely refunded my purchase without me asking. I wrote my review and they contacted me with the refund. So if you buy it and it doesn't work they will take care of you. I tried these and was actually worse off than without them. They may just affect different people in different ways, though. Maybe I should try a different brand with caffeine in it. For me, the effect I got from these was a very calm and relaxed feeling, which was great and all... but as far as mental clarity I actually felt like my focus was worse. Almost like I was too calm and relaxed to think creatively or problem solve. I took them for about 2 weeks and during that time I could not get any work done, I just kept drawing a blank while trying to work on programming and game dev projects. Once I stopped taking them and gave them a few days to wear off, I now have my ability to focus better and get work done again. I would say definitely give them a try! They simply may not have been for me or my body's chemical balance. It's a great value compared to other focus enhancing supplements and it can't hurt to try them. Just be aware that you may be affected differently than others. If they do indeed help with your focus, they are worth 5-stars. For me, though, they did not help my focus or energy levels but instead gave me an extreme sense of calm and relaxation. If I purchased them for the purpose of feeling more relaxed and calm or for anti-anxiety then I would have give them 5-stars. Honestly life changing. I take this one at lunch and the Ashwaganda one at 4pm. I feel more energetic than normal by a long shot.
