Fast Card.
GTX1080 - Great card, purchased to upgrade my PC for Oculus Rift usage. My only concern with this card was that the outer box was not shrink-wrapped/sealed as is usually the case with brand new cards. That said, the inner anti-static bag seemed factory sealed and the card appeared brand new. Price was very low in comparison with most GTX1080`s (£550) as opposed to around £700 for most I can see on Amazon, so I`m happy with purchase, it seems I got a bargain. As for the performance, this card handles whatever I throw at it without complaint. I only have HD monitors at the moment (3 times 1920 * 1080 screens), so can`t comment on 4K performance, but from what I read everywhere, this card will cope well.If I use Nvidia surround to connect all 3 screens as one 5760 * 1080 screen, it still performs very well, I get around 90 fps in Assetto Corsa at this resolution as a guide.

Amazing card! Very powerful and silent!
Had it for over 4 months now! What a beast! Runs all of my recent games (Shadow of Tomb Raider, Fallout 76, Shadow of War etc) maxed out on Ultra settings without a single hiccup! It’s a big card with 3 fans so make sure your case is big enough to fit it in and airflow is good as it likes to get to 80C . I got 3 extra fans fitted in my case to keep the card cooler and extend its life! Great buy!

A few problems but works as intended.
I did have a few problems when setting this up. I did get a few bsod and a few errors when trying to install the drivers. Unfortunately because of this I did have to factory reset my PC to remove any conflicting drives. It is easy to install but can be a bit hard to remove. It did increase my PC capability as i am now able to play games such as rainbow six siege at 100fps in ultra quality. For the price it is worth it but i would recommend a better brand like MSI.

Amazing performance, great quality.
Works as intended, have yet to find a game that I have performance issues with. Bought this as an upgrade from my 1050Ti in order to run my HTC Vive and play VR games smoother, and it's great. Runs every VR game no problem.Few specs for common games I've played using this card:GTA V - Runs max graphics no problem, 80-120FPS.Battlefield V - Max graphics, solid 60 FPS (Vsync, can probably get more without it.)Arma 3 - Max Graphics - 40-120FPS. (Depends really if you use mods or not, I do, without mods easy 100+)Minecraft - 10000000FPS.PUBG - 50FPS - This is primarily simply due to the games crappy performance, not the card itself.

Warehouse deal
Brilliant card, It brought me up to date as it's replacing a GTX 660 2gb card. This is a long card. Its fitted on an Asus X99-II Mboard and it just clears the tops of the first 4 sata ports on the edge of the board.Bought as a warehouse deal with a big price discount. The card came in the gigabyte sealed box with the brown cardboard main box inside also sealed with the proper sticky tabs as well. So I have no idea why it was returned to Amazon. It's unused and unopened. Description said, Minor packaging damage but I can't see any. This is my 2nd warehouse item and I will be looking for more.As I said in my previous warehouse deal review, Do check them out and read the description properly, You won't regret it.

I received 2 faulty cards in a row.
I guess there's a reason this card is much cheaper than the other GTX 1080s. I've had 2 of them now. The 1st one gave me weird artefacts and vertical screen tearing. Its replacement was completely dead on arrival. Returning it for a refund.

Good card but the coil whine is terrible.
Had this card for about 1 and a half years. It's a decent card, but it's just started coil whining. The noise is insufferable. I have open back headphones so I can hear it constantly. A high pitch squeal. Runs fine and stays cool-ish. The software lacks a little but works fine.

Worth every penny.
I purchased as part of a PC upgrade/overhaul. I'd previously been using an MSI R9 290 4GB Gaming Edition. As much as I'm aware that nVidia are releasing (at the time of writing) their new RTX 2000 series cards, I was looking for something that I could get now and within a certain budget. Also, after a decade or more of using ATi/AMD cards, I thought it was time for bit of a change.Although this card may a little overkill for my uses. I'm only gaming at 1080p 60Hz, sometimes 5760x1080 60Hz. It's handling every game that I throw at it, and at Ultra settings--never going below 60fps. Worth every penny.Sidenote:The Gigabyte logo does not light up on the version that I purchased. So depending on whether you're going full RGB or not, it could be either a good thing, or a bad thing, aesthetically. I think it looks more sleek/stealth inside of my case.
