I want to store my Xbox Series X controller under my desk — will this mount hold it securely?

Yes, this under-desk mount is compatible with Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One X/S, Xbox 360, and Switch Pro controllers. It attaches to the underside of the desk using adhesive or screws for secure controller storage.

Will the mount hold a PS5 DualSense controller, or is it only for Xbox and Switch Pro controllers?

This mount is designed for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One X/S, Xbox 360, and Switch Pro controllers. It is not designed for the PS5 DualSense, which has different grip dimensions. A separate PS5-specific mount is needed.

Does this mount work on glass desks, or does it only adhere to wood surfaces?

The mount uses 3M adhesive tape that bonds to most smooth, flat surfaces including glass. Clean and dry the surface before application. For wood surfaces, a screw option provides a more permanent, secure installation.

If I remove and reattach the mount frequently, will the adhesive lose its grip over time?

Repeated removal and reapplication reduces adhesive strength over time. For frequent repositioning, the screw installation method provides more durable, long-term attachment without adhesive degradation.

Does the controller need to be powered off before placing it in the mount, or can it stay in standby?

Power the controller off before placing it in the mount to prevent accidental button presses and unnecessary battery drain while stored. The mount holds the controller securely in its resting position.
