I've taken this for months at a time whenever I've been going through periods of low mood or stress (wish I had tried it sooner, when I was miserable at university). It helped me feel more resilient, for sure, and gave me a brighter outlook. Clinical trials show it can be as effective as conventional antidepressants and with fewer side effects. It's readily available to buy, without needing appointments, having a 'label' of depression etc. The only downside is that it's an enzyme inducer, so can reduce the concentrations of other medications/increase the speed at which they are broken down. If you are on the contraceptive pill, or any other important pills, take note.

I don't use them all the time, only when I think my mood is dropping. They seem to really help me control my moods, which some times are a little extreme. I very happy with my purchase and will be reordering once I've run out. I would recommend to the more mature woman.

I only buy these from October through to March/April when the wintry days/nights are upon us. Sometimes i may feel the need for a boost if I have been feeling exceptionally low, but only for the 30 days. I think i wrote a review for these a few years back and it does take a good few days/week for me to feel the effects. Theyre subtle, not a massive difference in mood, but enough to feel the effects. Obviously theyre not for everyone so my advice is try them for 30 days first. If they don't work then you won't feel like you've wasted your money. I'm glad they do the 60 day packs and I have recommended them to my boss who dove in with the 60 pack. I will check in with her to see if she is getting any relief from them as she suffers badly with SAD.

I've been on these a week and not noticed a positive effect on my anxiety or overall mood. In fact, my anxiety has gotten worse and I found I was worrying about small things too. The thing it has helped with is sleep. Deep sleep and vivid dreams. I'm disappointed as this is supposed to be the greatest natural remedy for low mood (not this brand but product in general)

I was feeling really anxious for 4 months. I felt really paranoid that people didn't like me. getting upset over the smallest things. working every little thing up in my head into something massive! I love my job and even that was stressing me out. My boyfriend and friends are incredible but i found ways to think them and my life wasnt. I thought it had something to do with my coil. I suffer with depression on and off, which at times has been very debilitating and have had a period recently which just seemed to go on and on for months and years, probably down to the menopause and changing hormones. These episodes used to be alleviated by running, which I can no longer do, and taking St John's Wort, but I found this wasn't touching it at all anymore. I saw this preparation with a higher dose of the herb by chance and thought I would try it. It has really helped and I'm back to normal again. Wish I had realised sooner that I a stronger dose was safe and available. It's a bit more expensive, but obviously worth it.
