For the price these are decent reels, smooth operation, perfect for either keeping in a travel kit or for casual fishing, mine came pre loaded with 8lbs line suitable for course and small carp, lightweight design, can't complain

After coming back to fishing for a long time, these reels are cheap as chips! I loved them! But the line on them is horrible!!! It is forever jumping off the reel, twisting knotting getting under the spool. And I've only used it 3 times! It looks like it was used to tether the titanic! My advice dump the line and put some decent line on it, but two reels for £15 no brainer

I bought these reels to go on two small telescopic rods. The reels are well made and good quality for the price paid. The rear drag and clutch works well. Reel handled landing a decent sized fish no problem. Not a bad weight. Would recommend for starter reels or for small rods under 10 foot.

I bought these on a bit of a whim, when they arrived I must say I was pretty impressed. Very good finish to them, fully loaded with decent enough line. They were packed well and to be honest a big suprise that you got two of them for such a low price. Probably wont suit the very keen or match angler but for a casual they are just the ticket. I have not used them in anger yet but will do so in the coming few weeks and will update then.

Better product that I had been expected, that must be said, it is featuring just the right size for majority of coarse fishing styles and it comes loaded with a fairly good line. Really impressive for the price. But...and this is my indulgence in detail speaking: there is an excellent one in the pair and a, um, less excellent one between them Simply put, one of the reels is not perfect, it makes a bit of a noise because of the rotating drum hitting the brim of the basis. That said, it is still functional and a novice to the sport would probably not notice it but it can't fool a man of 50 years of experience. I admit though that I had in the past quite a few happily functioning reels with the same (small by then standards) fault. I believe it is just that sort of exceptionally bad luck you get sometimes... All in all it is an excellent product even though with an occasional quality control problem. i
