Just returned from a holiday in India. These adapters worked well everywhere we stayed: including Calcutta, Darjeeling, remote parts of Sikkim and the golden triangle. They worked better than two-pin round adapters which were ok in big hotels but not in small Home stays. They were invaluable for charging phones, tablets, MP3, toothbrushes etc. I would recommend them to travellers in India.

Very well made and solid.In Ahmedabad using it on my laptop as I write this. The UK plugs are a bit of a tight fit you have to push it a bit harder then you think to get it in.So far my iphone has charged really fast like at home when in the hotel and in the company I work for the next 2 weeks my laptop is working fine with no glitches.

Good solid adapters... Very flexible inputs. I got them for Kathmandu where it turns out smart hotels have this type of generic input.

Purchased for our trip to Sri Lanka and only had to use it a few times as most of the plugs were the same as our UK plug. The order arrived spot on time and at a very competitive price - many thanks

Just come back from holiday to India and these worked perfectly. We travelled to various places and hotel and they fitted all. Delivery was great. All in all no issues so giving it 5 stars

Contrary to the product description, the upper (earth) pin (if any) on the plug inserted DOES NOT push the safety shutter clear of the bottom (live and neutral) holes. I tried this (disconnected of course!) with various third pins and with a wooden dowel of suitable dimensions - and with all six of the adapters I ordered - doesn't work at all. Consequently, a certain amount of brute force is required to insert any plug into the adapter - so as to displace the shutter. This is particularly so with Euro-type two-pins where it seems as though something must surely break before finally the adapter 'gives'. British 3-pins with their stout, square pegs seem to go slightly better - but this has nothing to do with the third pin. Once in however, the fit is tight and stable with all accepted plugs. Assuming the electrical internals are OK, these do seem recommendable. They are rated 10amps / 250V so should be OK for any appliance you are likely to travel with.
