Overall, this little String of Pearls arrived in good condition. It was shifted around a bit during shipping, but nothing unexpected. The pearls were nicely hydrated, there are some baby roots starting, and for the price it’s a super cute little plant. Now hopefully I can keep her alive! 🌱

I’m so impressed. I was hesitant to buy a plant on Amazon but I thought well let’s take a chance since I can’t find this plant other places without it being so expensive. It was truly worth buying and I couldn’t be happier. It was packed well so nothing was broken off and it was extremely healthy. It watered it as soon as I opened it and it was sprouting and growing within a week. The pot was overflowing with my plant so I am so happy that they didn’t send some skimpy plant that barely had any growth. This was totally worth buying and I loved the quality and how well they cared for it that I went on and bought another from here the ruby necklace. Very happy with my plants…

Original review: This plant looks like it was deprived of water and light loooong before it went into the shipping box. Many of the older leaves look like lost causes. Hopefully I can get it to come back. It was well packed, at least. Update: After a couple days it perked up a little and got some color back. But... I had noticed when I first watered it that the soil seemed weird. It all wanted to float up when I watered, like it was new. And relatively little water came out of the drainage holes. After several days, the soil is still sopping wet. The last thing I want to do is repot a plant that is already stressed, but now I'm worried about root rot. This plant is in some kind of water retaining mix, completely wrong for a succulent. The soil has to be replaced immediately or the plant is 100% a lost cause. So... yeah. I had to bare root it to replace the soil. At first I thought that this mass of brown was soil that wouldn't separate from the roots. But nope: that mass of brown IS the roots. Healthy roots are supposed to be white. These are severely rotted. It lost most of the older dried up leaves during the process. So I planted it a little deeper, in a fast draining mix for cacti and succulents. Hopefully there's still enough life in it to grow new roots. It had like, 3 healthy roots amidst all the rotted ones that I had to remove.

I have this 4 stars because of the packaging. The soil in the pot of plant was completely dried out. The small box was easily tossed around . The plant was secured pretty well except if it hadn’t been so utterly dried out the particles from the dirt wouldn’t have been covering the plant. It was very difficult to get the loose dirt off of the leaves. It’s healthy enough. The soil was bone dry but the leaves were not shriveled or too thirsty. Seems a little pale and some of the leaves came off easily. Overall it’s a healthy little guy and is a beautiful addition to my collection. Perhaps adding a Fragile or This End Up stamp would make a big difference concerning the treatment of the box during shipping. It’s is a healthy plant and was certainly in better condition when they sent it. Not the fault of the shipper just rough handling on route. To be clear. It was shipped via. USPS Ground Advantage

Resilient plant! Delivery error kept the plant locked in a parcel locker with no key for 24 hours. When finally opened the plant was shriveled and looked dead. After placing this plant in a new environment and watering a little, this beauty began to flourish! Color came back, the dried parts perked up, and now she’s doing fine.

The product is good. I left specific instructions to not leave it in the mailbox. It was left in the mailbox. Just so happened I was home to get it. Unlike the one I ordered a month ago that was left in the mailbox and died because of it. The product is good but beware the delivery practice. The first one died in 2 days because of mailbox heat.

This is the first time I have ever ordered a live plant online and it arrived today in excellent condition. I have no doubt that in a couple of days after it will look as good as the one pictured in the ad. As a result, I will continue to order more plants.
