I chose these rounds after reading a ton of reviews for a bunch of products. And I’m really glad that I did! These are super soft and nicely made. I use the “rougher side” (which is very soft but not velvety soft like the other side) for toner application. These absorbed way less than the cotton balls I usually use for toner application so I ended up using less toner overall, which is great! I don’t plan on using these for makeup removal so I can’t comment on it, I really just picked them for applying toner which I do twice a day. I also appreciated that these came with a washing bag however I do plan on hand washing these since they don’t get very dirty, to maintain their softness.My only complaint is that these are not sewn through the middle of the round so there was a lot of separating between the two sides when I was applying on my face. However, I saw a lot of reviews for other similar products that had a seam through the middle, saying that the seam was irritating and interfered with the softness of the pad, so I might just have to find a way to hold them differently.My other complaint was that this came with a lot of plastic packaging for a “green” product but in the long run it’ll obviously be less waste, I just didn’t feel like they needed to be packaged in a bag inside of a bag inside of another bag.Overall I highly recommend these pads if you, like me, were looking for a product like this but got overwhelmed by the number of similar products like this on Amazon.Update 2/9/2021: I continue to love these’. I have been using them for months now and they are still like new. I decided to forgo the hand washing because I’m not Martha Stewart, however I wash them in the little linen bag they came with and air dry. They are all still as soft as when I got them and do not show any wear and tear, and I wash them all the time (about once every 15 days or so). I highly recommend these! I even raised my rating from 4 stars to 5 because of how well they have been holding up.Edit 1/13/2022 these babies are still going strong. Wash them once every two weeks and use them twice a day and they’re still as soft as they were the day I bought them. No loose threads or anything. I would buy them again and again but I guess I won’t need to!

I found that using cotton pads and balls for facial toner quite a waste. Not only was it not eco-friendly, it would be costly if I were to comfortably use toner daily. Did some quick research and wasn't really too worried about the presentation, mainly cost per pad. This fit the bill and some. 16 pads is plenty to last about a week, assuming you use about 2 a day (morning and night).I like the laundry bag that comes with this set. I've used it once already in the machine on normal, cool wash (though warm might be better if you want to be super clean) and it's worked well so far. Most of the coloring, sweat, and extra gunk was washed off. Obviously I don't expect the pads to be completely color free after the wash. It's fairly clean for what we're getting. The bamboo pads hold up well in the washing cycle.Each pad has two sides of differing texture - one softer the other a bit more coarse. The soft side feels like a satin texture. The more coarse side feels like a normal drying towel. I use this side if I really need to scrub or use on the body (ie chest, arms, neck).I imagine these will hold up well over time. If not, I'll update.Great value pack of reusable bamboo pads. I use these to apply/use with facial toner. I imagine it would work fine with make up as well. Recommended.

I bought this back in 2020. After 3 years of consistent use and machine-washing, it's still intact and remains soft!I have used both sides of the pad. I use the soft velvety side to apply toner and its softness keeps my face from getting red and irritated. The rougher bamboo terry side - I have used to remove makeup. It feels slightly rough to the touch (by hand), but on the face it feels gentle while also being effective in removing cosmetics that I don't have problems using it on my eyelids. One, and only one of my pads did stain though, but that's probably due to the formula of the eyeliner I used. Other than that, the others have remained spotless.The absorbancy of these pads are not too much, meaning you will be using less products than you normally would if you had used a cotton ball/pad. This is a big bonus for me because I do like getting the most of my buck. I now go through a bottle of toner at least twice as long as I did before.The laundry bag has been very useful as well. I wanted to hand wash them but having little to no time, I find it convenient that I can just toss them in the machine. Pro-tip, and I don't know if this is an already known tip: do not use fabric softener on these so it doesn't lose its absorbancy.Lastly, I have read some complaints about the fabric separating from each other when wiped on the face. I haven't had this problem so far but that's probably due to how I hold my pads. I included a photo for reference but of course, do what is most comfortable to you :)I don’t have complaints about this product at all. There's enough pads to last a whole week, a laundry bag for efficient washing, and two sides for different purposes all — for $7-$8? That sounds like a great deal to me.

I cannot recommend these bamboo rounds enough! They are soooo soft (seriously, so soft!!!), and stay soft after multiple washes. One side is the softest ever, the other side is a little bit more scrubby like a washcloth, but still smoother than a washcloth.They are incredibly easy to clean. I just put them in the included laundry bag they come with and zip it up and throw it in when I wash a load of towels.These rounds feel so much more luxurious than the disposable ones because of how big and soft they are. It's also nice that you can wet them before putting makeup remover or soap on them, and they won't tear like the disposable ones. They're about twice the size of the disposable cotton rounds.Depending on how much makeup I'm wearing on a given day (usually foundation, mascara, sometimes lots of eyeshadow), I use between two to four of these rounds with micellar water to remove all of my makeup. I then swipe my face with a wash cloth and plain water afterwards before moisturizing. Then I simply throw these in their laundry bag hanging in my laundry room and I have not yet run out between washes. Another nice bonus is these save my face cloths from getting stained with my makeup so my family does not get mad at me :)I'm just really excited about how perfect these are. I made the switch because it's a more sustainable product, and ended up loving them because they made removing my makeup much more pleasant and easy.
