Auto BeltLock Stop Children and Kids Opening The Seat Belt Securing The Car seat

Will work for what I need it to do. Ironically, only when it arrived did I find out it was Irish made and could have ordered it directly from company as I live in Ireland. One thing though, when I read up on their website they said for safety reasons it's only suitable for baby seats which have an internal belt, ie, it's not suitable for use with boosters etc as child can't be easily released in the event of emergency. My reason for buying it is for use with a little boy with autism who opens his belt when the car stops briefly. Other products include a key which for my use would be ideal, but I accept the safety reasons outlined by the manufacturer. Safety is priceless and as a relatively new product to the market I understand the price but it is expensive for what it is.

Does job well. Bit worryful encase of emergency but it's more dangerous with my two year old continually unbuckling his belt throughout a journey. So this is a must have for long summer trips away in car. He's not pleased though. Sometimes we give him opportunity to not unbuckle and it works sometimes. So it can be used to teach them too.I use middle seat belt at far side to unbuckle as it's hander. Though my clever 21/2 year old figured out he could use daddy's seatbelt when he was out of car to do the same. Thankfully he couldn't get it to teach at time as it kept sticking but it will go. But at least that's not when cars moving.Buckle is too big for my seat belt holder but still works just makes it a little more fiddly.I would recommend. I just wish there was something I could do with the pram too as he can undo buckles and the additional straps I bought that our designed to keep him in lol.

This item is fantastic. Does what it says on the tin.Driving on a road when LO suddenly decides to undo their seatbelt = very scared parent.This clips easily on the seat belt buckle so the child cant undo the seat belt.Easy to use and easily removable. The only worry I would have would be if it needs undoing in case of an emergency, but can be removed with a key or flat edge of a key ring.Like one of the other reviewers suggests, buy two - so that if my LO figures out that if they take the seat belt buckle next to them and use that to depress the seat belt lock then they can't do it.

It's working really well for our Autistic 8 year old, who could get out of the buckle cover her school provided in seconds- because it was so flimsy she broke it. There's really nothing to break with this, and you can just use your car key to release it quickly. You should have a seat belt cutter though, in case there's an accident and emergency services need to get your child out in a hurry.

Luckily I had only just come away off the motorway when she undid her seatbelt, but it scared me; if only someone told me about this Belt-lock then it wouldnt of happened... This is a godsend, worth every penny for the safety n piece of mind it offers knowing they can't depress the catch to take their seatbelt off.,. It's just a shame that we've got to find these out the hard way.Mads carers always put this on her; even with an escort in the back of the car with her, as it offers them a real piece of mind also. So with that saying - Social Services loves this, thinks it a real genius creation; simple but very clever device, also the fact that it can be unlocked using any key quickly.

Does what it supposed to do bit fiddly to fit on have to pop child in chair then go in from the other side of the carVery expensive for what it is Infact a rip off! Could do the same with a cut down yogurt Pot, Infact would probably be safer as could be ripped off in an emergency.To be fair couple of days use and child doesn’t even try to open the belt

My grandson has just reached the stage where he is now out of his harness on his car seat and now has the seatbelt on it instead. I was worried that he would let himself out of his seat whilst we were moving. Someone suggested these clips to stop that from happening. The first downside is the price, I paid £10.99 for something no bigger than a matchbox and at the time of purchase it was the cheapest I could find anywhere. The second letdown is how fiddly it is to fit. If you have a screaming 3 year old who really doesn't want to sit in the chair in the first place this really doesn't help matters. My husband age 59 can do it where as my daughter age 26 can't do it so it's not an age issue. I see a lot of people are buying the seatbelt ripper to use incase of an accident. I personally didn't get one because if you pull the seatbelt out far enough they can get them out anyway. As someone said to me it's a toss up really between not being able to get the child out in a hurry and having a child let themselves out of this seat and causing an accident. At the end of the day it's up to you.

Just what I needed. This item is a god send. A fantastic product that has taken away the worry of my son ever unclipping his seatbelt on the motorway again. This clips on easily on the seat belt buckle so the child cannot press the eject button. Easy to use. It also can be removed just as easy.I do find you need something long and thin e.g key to push in between the gaps to unclip the seat belt. But hey it's a small price to pay for the knowledge that your child is safe in the car and that the seat belt will remain in position. A fantastic product that no parent of small inquisitive children should ever be without. Thumbs up to the person who invented this product. Thank you to Amazon for selling this product too
