Not bitter and very smooth
Grind quality - as stated - finely ground Strength - excellent without being “too” strong Roast colour - dark as stated Caffeine content - wonderful 😜 Not my first buy of coffee from this company. I previously had the the Arabica medium roast which was lovely. This is my first buy of this Colombian coffee blend. I don’t think it will be my last purchase. It is lovely. No bitter aftertaste, but dark and “chocolatey”. Really smooth tasting coffee. I drink with quite a lot of semi skimmed milk and no sugar cos I like it that way. However I don’t think it will disappoint if you drink it black and/or with sugar. Drinking it without sugar I would have known straight away if it was bitter. It is not. I’m not a coffee snob. I just like “good” tasting coffee. This is. I recommend!

Very nice, definitely a dark roast though
Not a coffee expert. I’ve just switched from drinking instant coffee at home and getting my ‘premium coffee’ fix from the very very occasional starbucks/costa trip to buying a drip machine. Read this review with this in mind. First off: it smells amazing. Every time I make a coffee I have a quick close up smell of it! Not that you can’t smell it anyway as soon as you take the lid off. It smells the part, that’s for sure. Taste: clearly this is a dark roast coffee. So the reviews stating this is bitter are correct in the fact that it is dark and therefore has a stronger taste. But it isn’t bitter in a horrible way and I think that describing it as bitter is inaccurate. In my opinion it has a great taste and you can use less of it if you like a weaker taste! Price: amazing. I think this doesn’t need to be said, for a tub this size it is priced well although if you are a Cosco member you can get it even cheaper, nonetheless though, great price anywhere for a tub this size. Overall very impressed. Would I buy again? Yes. Is it my favourite? Maybe so far… out of the two filter coffee packs I have bought in my lifetime haha. although another coffee might impress me more as I’ll no doubt keep trying different ones for my new machine!

Heavenly Coffee
Superb quality, dark brown colour which gives it light chocolatey notes, perfect dark roast, which is incredibly smooth and absolutely no bitterness. I brewed a double cup with my individual mesh filter, adding four scoops of coffee as I was sharing this taste test with daughter, it was quick. Then we added our dash of maple syrup plus a splash of milk. Awwww... Super happy of my purchase, worth it? Definitely yes, I recommend.

loads for the money!...tastes good too
I bought this thinking it was a much smaller tin. I'm not great with kg. However, it arrived in a massive tin with good lid and sealed inner foil. I wasn't sure if it would be suitable as I prefer strong coffee. This has a been a surprise, its surprisingly smooth and I don't even need to add a small amount of sugar as it is not bitter. I am now on a low income, so expected it to be poor quality for the size of the tin and the price. How wrong was I ?! I am delighted to say its great value, tastes better than cheaper coffee bought in local supermarket and I would recommend. I make a jug of it with a filter cone and paper and it tastes great.

Great taste, great value and you are left with a handy tin. Worth a go.
We came across this coffee while visiting friends in the USA. They use it daily and we quickly became fans of the stuff too. It’s rich enough, but never bitter. Very smooth. I normally like white sweetened coffee but this stuff just works black. Feels authentically American because that’s where we first had it. Over there it’s found at Costco and we don’t have one in our country so when I realised we could get it very reasonably on Amazon I ordered a tin right away. Our maker is a simple filter thing and the coffee comes out perfect. You need to play with the quantity to get the strength right for you obvs but it’s very easy to drink even quite strongly brewed. Tin came in an amazon box with padding so it was not damaged or anything. The tin is great, foil seal and plastic top so it’ll stay fresh as we drink through it. And when we are done we will have a handy tin for stuff in the shed. Can’t beat the value and “I’ll just have another” factor. 👍

Cheap but mighty on taste
My coffee of choice is the M Donald's s Columbian but as 15 quid a bag it's a bit expensive, even for a treat! Have purchased many coffees and disliked them so, when reading the reviews for this one and its BARGAIN price, i gave it a go! Now some reviewers have said there is a bitter after taste and i found this too be true if you made the coffee too strong. I take mine black with no sugar and super strong. One tablespoon/ coffee machine scoop level is perfect for me but if i round the measure slightly, i find the coffee bitter. You'll find it a bit of trial and error til you get it right for your personal taste. This is becoming a favourite in the house now and will last a while and works out very cheap so can afford a lovely filtered coffee ALL the time now and not just as a treat. My machine keeps the coffee warm for about 30 minutes but to be honest, i rarely use this function....however for the purposes of this review, I used the keep warm function and the taste stayed the same with no bitterness. Well impressed and will be buying more!

As good as Community!
I love the Colombian roast from Community Coffee and it remains my all-time favorite. However, it is difficult to find a large container for the workplace. We were existing on Folgers, which is sub par in my opinion. So, I decided to search for a better brand and found Kirkland coffee. It was about $1 less expensive than the same size container of Folgers. I am so pleased I found it! It has that rich, fruity acidity that only Colombian coffee seems to have. I've tried coffee from around the world and this is some of the best in my humble opinion. It doesn't taste overly roasted/burned and greasy like the French roast tends to taste. This is clean, strong and has a pleasant acidity level. It's finely ground and it is appears to be pure coffee. With Folgers, I've actually pulled out bits of straw or other foreign materials. If you like Colombian coffee, you won't be disappointed with Kirkland. It's a great value.

Excelente
