Luckies of London Lunch Bag – Insulated Lunch Box Reusable Waterproof Thermal Food Container

My son is a graphic designer so image and style is everything, I bought this and he loved it. I'm sure he would cringe at the term trendy though but that's my take on it. His work colleagues also ordered one as it works. I put in 2 thin ice packs and it keeps his food cold all day, you can wipe it out carefully. I have bought 2 now and each has lasted about 14 months with daily use so I don't think that is bad to be honest. Lovely little bag that fits a plastic sandwich box, fruit box, yoghurt and a few other bits for the day, plenty big enough as I put a lot of stuff in plus 2 ice packs. Not sure how robust it might be for school kids as they will be in and out of school bags all day but the advantage is it will fold down small unlike a solid box

This thing is amazing. The day it arrived, I literally went around showing everyone and they were almost all as excited about it as I was.I love things like this - I love the paper lunch bag ideal, I love the American idea of brown paper grocery bags (make one of those next??), so as soon as I saw it I had to have one.It doesn't look that large when it's folded up but it actually expands to a very reasonable size (put it this way, if your lunch doesn't fit, you're probably taking too much). I've managed to fit a couple of tupperware boxes in there, along with a few pieces of fruit and a bag of crisps.The magnetic top is genius and even though the whole thing looks a bit rough around the edges, it isn't. It's very sturdy.The only quibble I have is that, when full, it's not always the easiest thing in the world to carry as the more you have in it the less room you have for purchase.That said, well worth the cost to have something unique and really fun.

I've had this now for a few weeks. I use it to take to work on the passenger seat of my car. when I'm done with my lunch it folds flat and goes into my laptop bag. In that sort of usage its been great. Perhaps not ideal if you plan to shove it in a school type bag when full. The closing mechanism is light duty so it won't contain spillages unless kept upright. I like the aesthetic a lot which is why I bought it. Partner has a thermos zip lunch bag/box and though perhaps slightly more practical, I prefer mine. I can't honestly say it's kept my sandwiches cold, it's not really. An ice block would improve that, though would likely cause condensation given the material being so thin (actual liquid would be contained but I haven't had to test this thankfully.To summarise, the main plus points are;Aesthetics, it looks greatIt folds flat when emptyDrawbacks are;Not great for rucksacksClosing mechanism doesn't make a strong seal (but does stay happily closed if sat on a surface).I would recommend the product.

I have tested this well over this hot summer and it kept my lunch beautifully cool, without having to hunt down a fridge to put it in. This is because the bottom is sufficiently broad to put a square, flat freezer/cooler brick in. The lining inside is the silver 'foil' stuff that keeps things cool. It wipes out with a cloth well, too.It truly does look like a paper bag, which is amusing, although it is much, much stronger. The top rolls down and clips into place with a strong magnet situated within the lining. Its quite sturdy and withstood being dumped under my chair while I was on a course, then flung into my car on the way home.

This is a very quirky lunch bag indeed! I love it, I do.. it's much more roomy than you might think initially. I can fit a sandwich box, a piece of cake, cookies, and an orange with no problem. No drinks, though, because that might make it too heavy.The only real problem I have with this paper bag is that it doesn't have a handle. Which is why I gave it only three stars, as it is a real problem when you are carrying a lot of things and it starts to feel heavy. ALso, it could do with being a little bit taller, as it gets very short once you fold it so that the magnets engage. And I know that other reviewers considered this to be quite flimsy, but let me tell you it withstood a bit of rain and a lot of suffering, as I am not the most careful person in the world. It holds up just fine!All in all it was an ok purchase, even though I have to say I might not buy it a second time. Also, it is more of a "guy accessory" and being a woman who likes a bit of colour I've already ordered a pink lunch bag!

Now I’ve had a few bags in my time, even one for life, but I’m into my second one in that area but I’m so please with this model. This bag likes to get filled and can easily accommodate my Italian salami and meatballs. Don’t worry if you get it wet inside, it’s easy to wipe clean and ready for action again. Value for money, it’s one cheap bag but it keeps on giving. Very robust and handy round the house too. I take mine shopping and in the car. Loves a ride. Worth every penny.

I bought this item as a present for my girlfriend as she was looking at it since a while now. When it arrived I wasn't very convinced about the material, it actually looks and feel like paper, so can seem quite frigile... I could non have been more wrong! The material is in fact quite resistant and it has a magnet in the opening that allow an easy and resistant seal (not an hermetic one but is ok). It is also easy to clean! Just use a wet drape and the magic is done!! You can also costumise the paper bag and make it more personal but my girlfriend was liking it at natural. The inside is made with an insulant material that is quite effective, we were surprised to see that actually it keep the cold item at cold temperature and the warm on still warmish!! It is quite spill resistant too, as we dropped a bit of water inside with no dramas or issues. Very nice purchease!!

I love this product....I have just started a new diet and wanted to take food into work rather than just grab anything while I was there and didn't want to use the communal fridge. I didn't want a 'nerdy' food bag which looked like I had borrowed it from an 8 year old and wanted to stand out. This bag certainly stands out and is so retro, it just gets better as it ages!!!I have tried it with and without freezer blocks, it certainly keeps food cooler with the blocks (obviously) but even without it will keep food cool until lunchtime.Very happy with the purchase!!!

El material con el que está hecha es de muy buena calidad, pareciera que es de papel, es más amplia de lo que esperaba, no es gigantesca, pero cabe bien el almuerzo, el imán que posee para asegurar el cerrado de la bolsa es muy útil por qué mantiene el cerrado en rollito de la parte superior

L'ho preso principalmente per l'estetica. Volevo qualcosa che potesse restare nei dintorni della scrivania senza essere subito riconoscibile come portapranzo. Secondo me è molto carino e l'ideale se le aspettative sono calibrate in rapporto all'uso e al prezzo. Le calamite non sono fortissime, ma fanno il loro dovere. La presa del sacchetto è solo in alto e come da foto non ci sono buchi o maniglie. L'interno è foderato con del materiale isolante ma non è a tenuta stagna. Se per voi queste premesse sono ok, allora è l'acquisto giusto! Io lo metto nello zaino e lo tiro fuori in ufficio. Mi sembra resistente ma l'esterno è comunque di carta pacco quindi non si può pretendere che sia impermeabile o ignifugo! Nel caso ci fossero aggiornamenti, scriverò ancora.

This really is a lunch bag. Although, it does actually look like a paperbag. It is insulated inside to keep everything stored at its temperature. The outside is made of fiberglass, which makes it very resistent, and it is closed with a magnet, so all in all very handy.I was very pleasantly surprised to find that the lunch bag is very high quality, and I was very pleased to find how cool it looks (really, it does look paper!) and how easy it is to clean and take care of it.Definitely 5 stars

Cela peut vous paraitre court, mais quand on emmene religieusement son manger au boulot pendant deux ans, avec une conservation thermique acceptable, que de mande le peuple. Et en plus, ce sac fait marrer tout le monde, il a de la gueule :)
