Excellent little machine and not too heavy. Once unpacked you have a few bits to assemble and the guide explains it all. The most awkward part is clipping in the hoses for the first time. Bit tricky but once you have done once, its straightforward. There is a plastic clip which slides back, insert hose and then slide clip forward again. The hose feels better that the one on older models and doesn't feel as stiff. I like it but perhaps its not as thick as the older models. Good strong jet and works with one easy control knob which is either on or off, Similar to turning a shower on and off. I used the path cleaning kit and I must admit, its certainly better that getting covered in dirt and all sorts of organic material. Normally the spray goes everywhere and throws all the bits up but the jet of water is contained inside the cover. (Like an upturned basin). Some water does come out but not much and it certainly doesn't soak you. I used the path cleaner and was unsure whether to dilute it or not as the instructions aren't that clear. It mentions that you can make a solution up but that's not for when you use the pressure washer. The main body of the hose wand is good and easy to set to the correct pressure by a simple twisting motion. Connecting it to the other units is a bit more difficult and I struggled a bit until I realised I hadn't unscrewed the joining section enough. Again, do it once and after that is straightforward. My overall impression is that its a good lightweight pressure washer which is ideal for small jobs, path cleaning, car wash, windows etc. Dont think its ideal for heavy duty work but that's not what I wanted it for.

This pressure washer works fine but has a few niggles which in my view could be fixed with a little redesign. First the cable length is too short to work round my car without having to stop and relocate extension reel several times. The tool storage on the washer does not cater for the spray nozzle, patio tool, or any brushes so you need somewhere else to put all these. The pump also needs to be stored upright, rather than say on its side on a shelf, otherwise the cable drops off its stowage hook. The sample bottles are only enough for one small car wash, or limited patio area so you’ll need to get more detergent straight away.

Amazing. Bought mostly for the patio. I was tempted to go for the K4 for the extra power, but I'm glad I didn't, this easily had enough oomph. I'd heard mixed reviews about other brands of patio cleaner extension, but this was incredible. The main cleaner was very quick and effective, and the dirtbuster got rid of the stubborn lichen very quickly and easily. It took about 30 minutes to do the entire patio to a very good standard with the cleaner (then additional time for the dirtbusting, but most people won't bother with that as it made little difference) Note: I wouldn't worry about buying any patio cleaning liquid, it cleans well enough without it... I used the cleaner on half, and not on half... see if you can figure out which half I used it on, it made no difference.

As per reputation Karcher met expectations. Product arrived on date promised

I love it but have to have another person to set it up for use because I don’t have the strong hands it needs to set it up.

I was pleasantly surprised by how small and light this Karcher pressure washer is - my old one (an Alto) is about twice the size and so heavy that it's a job to lug it around. The Karcher needed a little assembly before it could be used, but this is easy enough using the picture instructions in the manual. Everything clicks into place, so you don't need tools to put it together. Apart from its compact size and light weight, the stand out features for me are the built in detergent tank and the vario power lance, which allows you to change the power of the spray for different jobs. At its lowest setting the lance will draw detergent from the tank and mix it into the water stream. One twist/click on the lance and the detergent can be switched off allowing you to use water only. Brilliant! This is so much easier than my old pressure washer, where you had to change the lance to add or remove detergent bottles (although the Karcher comes supplied with the same sort of lance as well as the built in detergent tank - not sure why you need both to be honest, but it's handy to have the extra option I suppose). You have to connect the built in detergent tank to the main unit using a small length of clear hose that is built into the unit (see pictures). This seemed a little odd to me but it's easy enough to connect and disconnect, and it not being connected permanently means that you can pull out the entire detergent tank for cleaning or refilling. Included in this kit is a half liter bottle of car shampoo and a half liter bottle of patio / stone cleaner. I used the supplied car shampoo to wash two medium/small cars (a Golf and an Aygo) and nearly used the whole bottle up (having poured it into the on board detergent tank). I was probably being a bit liberal with my application of shampoo, but the rate of detergent usage is something to bear in mind - it goes quicker than you think and compared to normal car shampoo that you mix in a bucket is a pricey way of cleaning your car. But it's a lot easier! Another standout feature of the kit is the supplied washing brush. You have to take off the vario lance to connect it, as it connects directly to the trigger. If the detergent tank is connected to the main unit (see photo's) then you can pump soapy water through the brush, which is great for car washing. However you have to disconnect the clear host running to the detergent tank if you just want clear water - there's no way when using the brush to switch the detergent on or off from the lance - a minor irritation but not a major issue. Also included in the kit is the T150 patio cleaner - basically another lance that you connect to the trigger. It has a circular foot with a dome shaped hood, with rotating water jets underneath. This makes light work of cleaning a patio or other flooring - you can effectively use it like a vacuum cleaner. If you've ever tried to clean a patio using a lance alone you'll appreciate how much easier this makes it, and the hood means that you don't get covered in all the dirt and grime that gets splashed up as well. So all in all I'm very pleased with the Karcher - the flexibility of being able to change power settings and turn the detergent on and off from the lance is a great feature, especially for car washing. Recommended.

My husband loves this power washer! It was very easy to assemble with a great assortment of attachments. It was easy to use & was light weight, so anyone could use it. It has brought up our block paving & patio flags sooo beautifully, they look like brand new again. It makes short & fun work of washing the car/van with the kids. My husbands one complaint was that he can sooo easily get carried away when using it, because it’s so effective it’s easy to get carried away, & before he knew it instead of just doing the front drive, he’d done the front, the back, the car & he started on the exterior walls!!
