Excellent range of sizes and good to have the case to store / sort them. A minor thing that each size is a separate colour but only one colour per size, which means you can't colour-code (say) positive and negative if you're using the same size tube. A minor worry was that this was left in full sun on a recent very hot day, and when I opened it the outside of the plastic box was too hot to touch. I was worried it had affected the heat-shrink tubing but they're all fine. I use a hair-dryer to shrink them and that works fine. Excellent to have exactly the sizes you need, making for an elegant job. Before buying this, I was nursing a single length of old sleeving I'd had for years, and it finally bit the dust. Now I have plenty of choices of size and they work so well. I wish I'd bought this set a long time ago!

Good price and size range

I actually bought this kit for electronics, but it ended up saving my prescription glasses instead. The rubber coating on the inside of both arms had started peeling away, making them uncomfortable to wear and looking a bit scruffy. After watching a few tutorials online, I realised heat shrink tubing could be used as a replacement, and this kit turned out to be perfect. I found a size that fit my frames nicely, slid the tubing into roughly the same position on both sides, used a hair dryer to shrink it down, and the finished result honestly looked far better than I expected. I only wish I'd discovered this trick sooner. The assortment itself is excellent. There are plenty of sizes and colours to choose from, all neatly organised in a sturdy case, so finding the right piece only takes a few seconds. The tubing shrinks evenly, grips well and gives a surprisingly clean, professional-looking finish. Even with nothing more than a household hair dryer, it worked exactly as I'd hoped without scorching or splitting. What I like most is that this kit has already paid for itself with a repair that would otherwise have meant replacing a perfectly good pair of glasses. If the tubing ever wears out, I'll simply cut it off and fit another piece in a couple of minutes. Obviously it's intended for electrical insulation, and I'm sure it'll do that job just fine too, but if you've got glasses with deteriorating rubber arms, this is a brilliant little hack to keep them going for a lot longer.

Das Schrumpfschlauch-Set ist sehr praktisch, weil verschiedene Größen dabei sind und man für kleinere Reparaturen oder Kabelarbeiten schnell den passenden Schlauch findet.
