Been using since 2012 and it's so lovely I won't be changing any time soon either. It lasts longer than it says so if you have bleached your hair expect amazing results but it won't really wash out just fade. I'm lucky I have naturally light hair so it takes beautifully on my natual hair just not as intense. I've never left it to wash out I only let it fade and redo every 4 weeks. I love there is no mixing and it has no amonia or hydrogen peroxide in. My hair has thanked me for using this over the past 5/6 years and looks so much healthier as it doesn't dry it out and leaves it incredibly silky smooth. Make sure you have an old towel though as it does stain, it washes out over time but I wouldn't recommend your best white towels for the job lol. Also be warned this is a staining product not a dye so if it rains and your hair has been done in the last week or 2 it will run! Until it's faded quite a bit it runs so do not go swimming or stand out in the rain. Because some parts of my hair still have bleach under the dark cherry I was hoping those parts may have come out bright to give me hair a dark and bright two tone look, I was delighted to see that it had worked 😃😃 i used lIVE XXL raspberry ripple it not really come out as pink as I was hoping for but thats nothing to do with the product, its because I put it on top of red , my roots and natural hair (dark brown) has come out a nice burgundy red and as you can see from my photos my lighter parts have come out a bright red/pinkish, I'd love to experiment bleaching my hair first in future with this colour as I think it would come out really well :) do recommend! So far it’s alright but not the best. As you can see from my photo, my hair is long. However the dye that came in the tube is far too small amount and I ended up using all three boxes just to cover my long hair! Surely 2 boxes should be enough to cover my whole head but it did not. Keep in mind that the hair dye washed quite quickly within 3-5 washes and my hair was back to bleached hair. I would recommend if you wanted to dye your hair short term its worth it. Otherwise I would have to keep retouching my hair every two weeks which could be a nightmare for someone like me. It’s a shame, the colour is so beautiful if only the dye lasted longer. The only positive about this hair dye is that my hair is left smooth and not dry. I love Live products, I always use them when dying my hair bright colours. This is the first time I tried pastels. The conditioner smells amazing! I used all three boxes of dye to fully cover my hair with the dye. Full head application not highlights. The result is patchy! It's a shame as it's a gorgeous colour on the parts that have taken. I will say though it has completely rid the yellow effect from lightening my hair yesterday in preparation for using this colour! So that's a bonus.I would say if you are wanting a full head then you will need at least 6 tubes to smother your hair my hair is thick and I probably could have used more tubes and who knows whether the result would be better or whether I would have just wasted more money. To put that into some context;The box recommends two tubes for thick or long hair. My daughter has thick, medium length hair, so I originally bought three boxes, being well-used to dying my own hair, I was sure that would be enough.The tubes of dye are the same size as you would see in a normal pack of semi-permanent dye, however, there is no developer with these, thereby halving the amount available to use. The dye is thick and difficult to spread. It really has to be worked in, strand-by-strand using a hair-dye brush. After three bottles we ran out, with a quarter of my daughter's hair to do. Fortunately we are still largely in lock down, so she didn't need to go anywhere whilst we waited for this emergency delivery from Amazon.We used another two bottles to finish off her head, and left it to develop for 40 minutes (double the recommended time).So after five packs of dye, and approximately 2.5 hours of my time in application, we did end up with a beautiful, glossy, vibrant raspberry pink colour.
