Lopunny Birds Repellent 15.5-inch Reflective Hanging Owl with Bells Pests Control Scare Device (3 Pack)

These owls with balls, sorry bells, are very striking with their reflective surfaces and staring eyes, are quite stunning and easy to hang. I'm sure they must deter pigeons! However, my one criticism is they are a bit large and so it is quite an effort to get them to dangle off something. I would prefer a smaller set of say six which could string just above my brassicas as I do with CDs at present.

I live by a nature reserve and my garden is usually full of birds (The feathery kind).I don’t mind this one bit except that the Magpies are not the cleverest of birds. They are constantly fighting with their reflection from my car bodywork and this can last hours causing hundreds of scratches.I placed all 3 in different locations and did not expect them to work to be honest.The next day was eerie as there was not a bird in sight all day, this has continued for a couple of weeks.I now have 1 wood pigeon who will sit on top of a neighbours garage but no closer. They say you should move them around as the birds get used to them, I will when the Magpies return.I took the white string off them and hung them loosely with a screw, looks and hangs better.

Useless, eyes and bells cane off and made no difference to the pigeons

Worked for a few days but the birds soon learnt to ignore them. Not very robust the wind destroyed them in no time at all, the bells fell off and the glossy material tore in a few days. More for decoration than scaring birds.

Wonderful for a week, bells kept the birds away but after a few weeks the bells fell off I have only one now on the tree. The three owls were put on the tree very securely.

Unbelievably this actually works. My terrace is much clearer now.

So far they have been keeping the wretched pigeons away from our water feature. Long may it continue!
