This is a nice weight but not super heavy good for indoor play.

I have received the 4lb rubber tenpin bowling ball from Amazon. Based on their shipping information timeframe estimate, I was not expecting its delivery until Wednesday next week. This is the sole positive in the purchase. Unpacking the ball, and testing it for gripping, I have to wonder where the Hell the manufacturer got its idea that the moulded fingerholes and thumb hole were in any way usable. The three holes are correctly diametered for adult large sizing. Anyone with smaller diameter fingers than me would find them sloppy and oversized. The holes for the fingers are chamfered on the rim, but the thumb hole is not. This makes the thumb hole unsuited for practice for even able bodied users, as it will cut into the base of the thumb. The fingerholes are deeper in depth than the thumb hole. My middle finger cannot touch the bottom of the two fingerholes, but easily presses on the bottom of the thumb hole due to its too shallow depth. The fingerholes are too widely spaced for proper handling of the ball, putting excessive stress on the bones and musculature of the hand. In addition, the images of the ball, in the manufacturer photos, shows a perfectly smooth, spherical, bowling ball. What was received is a ball formed by two ball halves, fused together. The two halves were not properly aligned, and were merely shaved down, where the misalignment was likely too visibly noticeable. Running my finger over this join line showed me just how bad the lousy alignment was. I could tell, with light finger pressure on each side of the join line, that one side was raised in comparison to the other. This will make it impossible for the ball to roll properly and smoothly, throwing it off track all the time. In short, do not waste your money on this unusable item.
