Is there a knack to open up the telescopic handle? I can only get mine to 37" which is killing my back. Grateful for any tips.

Screw bottom of handle (great area at bottom of handle) to get further extentions. There is 2extensions to handle.

Is the mop sold separately anywhere?

The mop head comes off to wash.Mop heads on line. Don't know about handle. It is the best mop and bucket set I have ever had. Would highly recommendx

does the spinning mop rust? Because my other spinning mop stopped spinning due to rust.

There is a Small Plastic and steel Needle bearing which rusts if you over fill the water or leave the mop with water in it. They are easy to replace HF081412 is the bearing

People seem to complain about the length of the handle, how long is it?

4ft once both parts are extended. The part I didn't realise could twist is about and inch up from the mop head, it doesn't look like it should twist or extend and the instructions on the box do not mention where to twist to extend, maybe something Vileda need to review.
