These are enormous ear buds. When I first saw the product I thought OMG. Until now I had always cleaned my Husky puppies ears with a ears and eyes pets wipe using my finger and in some areas used a normal Johnson & Johnson ear bud. I honestly though this product would not help me much, but for the price, taking in consideration you have enough buds for 25 uses (as I use one for each ear every time I clean them) it was worth the try. -So I applied some ear drops to make sure her inside ear canal is clean, as I get nowhere as close with the ear bud of course scared of causing any damage if she moves. In case it helps, ear drops link; Vetzyme Antibacterial Ear Drops and Cleanser, 18 ml - Then I clean the inside of her ears with a bud. I found this buds to be: -Strong - Will not bend while holding -Amazingly comfortable to hold due to their super size -A very good cleaning aid as the head of the bud is large I clean my puppies ears every week and since I have been using this ear cleaner buds, I have found this task to be easier and more in depth. We all know how many turn, bumps and twists the inside of a dogs ear has. Animal ear cleaners are handy and effective. I would almost say to any pet owner who might be doubting if to buy them or not... Would you stop using or buying your regular ear buds for your self? Do you think your ears would be as clean if instead of using an ear bud you would just use your finder and a towel or cloth? Well I know my answer to both questions is a radical NO. So why would I not buy the same / pet version for my puppy? At the end of the day we all want the best for our pets. Buy it, it only costs a couple of pounds and give them a try. My fur bby had a ear infection it was bad but couldn’t get a appointment for vets till end of February so I didn’t want to leave him in that pain for 6-7 weeks so did a search on Amazon and found ear drops but putting them in made him in more pain so bought the dog cotton buds totally amazing I soaked the cotton bud in the stuff for his ear not only did I have a happy dog again in 3-4 days the infection was gone so between dog cotton buds and solution his ears are great the drops clean there ears and also kills ear mites definite will be using them 1s a week to keep his ears clean you have to love something that says tested on humans so safe for pets made me lol 😆

I use these on my cocapoo who gets pretty dirty ears because of her adorable floppy ears. She absolutely loves having her ears cleaned out because she sits so nicely while I do it, I feel it must be such a relief for her to have her ears cleaned every few days which means she doesn't have to scratch and clean them herself! I use up to 8 or 9 each time so it's no time til the pack is finished so for me although a great product they work out a little pricey.

Obviously you stay well away from the animal's inner ear canal, but these cleaners are perfect for removing deposits from the crevices in a dog's outer ears. The stick does not bend or break, and is long enough so that your hand does not get in the way of you seeing what you are doing. If you dip them in ear cleaner it will leave a thin layer that helps prevent wax build up. As each area is cleaned, you can pull off the dirty section of cotton wool to expose a fresh bit. Far superior to baby ear buds which bend and leave woolly fragments behind and which in my opinion have no place near an animal's ears.

I thought these were great and much easier to use then normal ear buds like the vet uses. They are big but that makes it easier to get in to the ear properly without pushing or going to far. They are quite pricey but I have found I don't actually need to clean her ears so much as I'm doing a better job with them

I have been using these ear cleaning sticks for many years on several of my dogs and have recently used them again on my Boxer dog and Clumber Spaniel's ears. My Boxer gets seasonal allergies (usually around September/October time caused by fungal spores) which cause him to have red dry waxy ears (usually only one ear is affected), so I use these alongside a natural ear cleaner and colloidal silver cream. The cleaning sticks are excellent for removing the waxy debris and dry dead skin which sometimes peals away from his ears if they are dry, and are also good for applying the cream around his ear which helps to kill any bugs and moisturize the areas of the ear that are dry. I always ensure that the cotton ear bud is slightly wet with cleaning solution before using it in the ear, as I find that this prevents any of the cotton wool from the bud, coming away and remaining in the ear. When applying the silver cream, I just dip the cotton bud into the cream and apply it all around his ear into all visible areas and on the underside of his ear flap. Before applying the cream I ensure that his ear is completely dry from the ear cleaning solution, using kitchen towel. He is a very good and patient boy ! My Clumber Spaniel has very rarely had any problems with her ears, other than when she was a puppy, which was when I last needed to clean them. She is now 8 and today was the first time since then that I noticed she had a brown waxy build up in one of her ears (her ears have always been checked regularly). I cleaned both ears, one was absolutely fine, but the other one was dirty. I used the natural ear cleaner and these cotton buds (ensuring the bud was slightly damp with cleaner when used) and her ear is now sparkling clean, with no redness or dryness ! The cotton buds helped to remove the loosened debris with ease, ensuring that none was left in her ear. In my opinion, these cotton buds make cleaning dogs ears so much easier and they help to remove much more or all of any wax/debris than previous methods I used, prior to coming across these cotton buds. I would now not be without them and always have a pack or two in the drawer, just in case ! I never clean my dog's ears unless it is needed, as I understand that too much cleaning can disturb the natural balance of the ears and cause problems in it's self, but the cotton bud's are always there waiting if needed !

This may be my error in purchase, but these are far to big for my Standard WireHair Dachsunds‘ ears. They are a great idea, and I’m sure that they work well on bigger dogs as the end is well padded, with the handle long and strong. I wish they did small ones, or if they do, that I could find them.

Got these for my Cavalier when cleaning his ears, he is prone to build up & human ear buds go too far down so when I saw these I did wonder if they were worth the price but honestly worth every penny I will never go back now. My boy will let me groom his ears weekly now and will sit & allow me, before he would try get away the whole time. I see the difference in him so a must for my grooming supply!! I add his solution to these then clean his ear and no build up has yet to come back!
