I have to say, TP-Link have never ever let me down with anything, and again this applies to this 16-way (yes 16 channel) ethernet switch / adapter. It is so affordable too, and a great performer, and I can never understand why other makers want to charge perhaps 4 or 5 times more for a similar item, when this performs amazing, and even looks stylish too. The place where I work, is a bit of a shambles when it comes to ethernet adapters, going into more twin and three-way ethernet adapters, resulting in rj45 cables all over the place, and this 16 way adapter, has done away with all of that, just one neat box feeding up to 16 devices, and as I only need 11, still plenty of space for more. Thank you again to TP-Link as always - perfect.

This is not a Gigabit switch. But I didn't need one. Reasonably compact, well-built and simple to use. Just plug all the Ethernet cables in - no need for crossover cables as with older switches - power on, and job done. That's all there is to it. I am very pleased with the performance but then again, we're not heavy gamers nor video on-demand fiends. Simple economical packaging, topped off with a 3 year warranty and an energy saving mode (70%), at around a third of the cost of most 16-port Gigabit switches. Very pleased and highly recommended.

Excellent 16 port switch. Silent, cool and just gets the job done. That's all that needs to be said! No need to say more really.

I bought this switch for normal connections from router to media players. So far there have been no connection drop-outs or functional issues. It feels to the touch better quality than most other switches, but then again it’s pointless to hook up an expensive switch that out performs the hardware that is attached to it; because the hardware has its limitations. This is a very good product priced at a very reasonable price and does exactly what it is supposed to do and works well under heavy uploads and download times. I have just finished installing my 16 port switch and can say the hardest thing I had to do was to fit the rj45 connectors in the back. That meaning that it was so simple to use. After turning it on and leaving it 5 mins it configured itselfs and my home network was up and running across my house. I wasn't sure if this box would work because it was so cheap and seemed to easy but it works wonders. Love it so it gets 5 stars Great build and easy install.

Unboxed, powered, plugged all my smart hubs into it, worked. It looks great and it is exactly what I wanted, plugs are BEHIND the unit while lights are in FRONT of it. In my case this is perfect, because I plug things coming from behind the shelving and I want see its lights. Plastic feels cheap but for this price I could not complain, I was looking for 16 slots switch and this is by far the cheapest with highest positive reviews.

This is a nice little switch for the SOHO market, the size makes it ideal for putting it where space is at a premium. The indicator lights on the front are not the brightest to see, but once you know the connection is made, I suppose you do not need to look again unless you have problems, however when testing various equipment as I do, it can be a slight annoyance. Overall it does what it says on the tin, but ask me again in a year to see if it is still as reliable as the previous switch I replaced

Der TP-Link Netzwerkswitch wird von mir äußerst genutzt - 24 Stunden am Tag, 7 Tage die Woche. An ihm angeschlossen sind mehrere PCs, ein NAS, ein Server und ein WLan - Router. Der Server und das NAS befinden sich im Dauerbetrieb, und damit auch der Switch, und das nun schon seit 3 Monaten. Weiterhin hat dieser keine Fehlfunktionen oder irgendwelche Macken. Auch über lange Distanzen (30m) kommt das Signal noch verlustfrei am PC an. Ich nehme den Switch aber auch gerne mit auf Lanpartys, 16 Ports sind für mich und meine Freunde ideal, so können wir alle gleichzeit ins Internet und dennoch zusammen zocken. Und auch bei 15 PCs, die gerade gleichzeitg ins Internet wollen, macht der Switch nicht schlapp. Die Internetleistung wird gesplittet, sodass jeder ungefähr die gleiche Downloadrate hat. Alles in allem ist der Switch für mich ein sehr passender Allrounder, und ich kann ihn jedem Empfehlen, der ähnliches damit vor hat wie ich.

This is only a 100mb/s switch. If you have a PC with a Gigabit network interface only, it will not connect to the network through this switch. Also, your internet speed will only go to 100mbs even if your router and ISP is higher than that. Appears to be a nice switch but it is what it is for the money. Network speed is drastically reduced and throttled do to this limitation.
