Sakura Micron pens are the only pens I'll use for my artwork, especially when I'm working with watercolor. The ink is fade proof and waterproof and I don't have issues with smudging. I outline my work and let the ink dry before I start adding color which helps to prevent smudging. The ink does dry quickly which helps to speed up my work progress.

I purchased these very, very fine tip pens for my granddaughter for her scrapbooking project. I have used them myself for years journaling in journals and even on the fine pages of Bibles. The pen is perfect for quilters. the tip is just right, not to large so that you can create a personal message on your quilts for your loved ones. Easy to use. It would also be great to use in children's clothing to put their last name and phone number so that you can be notified by lost and found at school. Stays on after washings. Reasonably prices.
