The media could not be loaded. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Quality MLV & Soundproofing Products!I’ve been using these MLV rolls from Advanced Acoustics for a while now, and they never disappoint. The quality is excellent—heavy, flexible, and easy to work with. It does a fantastic job at blocking sound, and when combined with other materials like acoustic sealant and resilient layers, the results are even better.I’ve used this for walls, floors, and even inside speaker enclosures, and it always performs well. The material cuts cleanly, and it adheres well when using the right adhesive.I also purchase other soundproofing materials they stock, like the resilient tape, and everything has been top-tier. Definitely worth the investment if you’re serious about soundproofing.Highly recommend! Will continue purchasing from this brand.

Received promptly and does the job!
Used it as a soundproofing layer behind/within my garden fence; also have sound-deflecting/absorbing fence panels (by Forest Garden) - pleased with the results.

ACTUALLY DOES THE JOB --- SOUND WISE -- BUT -- IT IS NO MIRACLE ---
Very good product --- as i live in a block of flats --- was getting a lot of noise from ---- person living in flat beneath me --- and had tried various underlays --- IMPORTANT NOTE :- -- all normal carpet underlays are for -- impact noise -- and do absoulutley nothing to reduce --- AIRBORNE NOISE --Reason i know this as a fact -- as i went through buying several underlays -- thinking it would do the job --- and needless to say i was wrong ---So onto the product --- it is heavy --- about 20kg per roll --- and i found it to be most effective --- doubling up on the layers --- i just put one layer on top --- of the other and this drastically reduced -- the noise from neighbour below --- you will need -- stanley knife --- but i found it easy to work with -- -- Having Gaffer tape --or -- glue -- to secure down is important as where you cut it -- it doesen't lay flat on its own ---curls up a bit --- just a point to mention ---Tthere are some review -- saying the product -- has a very bad smell --- i didn't find this was the case -- it smells slightly of new rubber when opened --- but not -- air out the room -- i can't breath --- anymore -- !! :))So i don't know what the reviews were about saying it has a very strong smell ??All in all a great product --- if used as intended --- I.E --- where you are buying for sound insulation for AIRBORNE NOISE

Good , but you have to install in correctly, read on ....
First off , it's heavy. It took me and a friend to do this and we're both strong guys. You must hang it from a wooden or similar frame, do not simply glue it to a surface it'll not hold up due to its weight. To get the best acoustic noise reduction you have to use this MLV in a sandwich. Here's the basic instructions1: Construct your frame2: Fill the frame with high density rock wool or similar hight density material.3: First layer is audio ( blue colour) 15mm plaster board, screwed to the frame4: Next, hang the MLV on the frame screwing in at the top.5: Then use contact adhesive to glue the MLV to the rest of the plaster board under it6: Second layer of audio plaster board screwed on top of this MLV, the sandwichMake sure you don't have common joins i.e. stagger the plaster board joins and MLV joinsThere are quite a few YouTube videos that'll show you in more detail what I've given in the 6 steps above.Don't forget , it's heavy work !Hope this helps :-)

good soundproofing very difficult to mount / work wwith
Does the job but any kinking or bending during mounting causes tears, also extremely heavy for mounting on ceilings

Works well soundproofing floors.
Superb product. Easy to shape and fit with a Stanley knife. Tends to scar white with any contact with sharp objects or on a tight fold, but as it is supposed to be hidden behind a wall or carpet this doesn't matter. I found the scarring effect helpful when I was trying to fit it to a corner by using the creases to mark where I needed to cut. Each roll is quite heavy. I used this to sound-proof the floor along the wall I was soundproofing using a stud wall backed each side with soundproof plasterboard. I laid the matting under the floor boards over the top of roof-insulation mineral wool, wrapped the edges around the ends of the floor boards to prevent sound being transmitted through the wall along the floor boards. With just 2 rolls I was able to line the floor under the length of 3 plasterboards placed side by side, and still have enough left over from the off-cuts to place a second layer over the top of the floorboards (if you imagine a cross section of the floorboards leading up to the wall on the left hand side the matting would surround the ends of the floorboards in a C shape). Works well. Recommended.

Reasonably good
Item arrived on time. Really good quality. Definitely need 2 people to install as they weigh quite a bit. We used these mats on the walls in our bedrooms in between two layers of acoustic boards. They seem to have reduced some of the sounds (not flanking) however I cannot say for sure if they were effective on their own or not as they were used in conjunction with the boards.
