Nice idea, does not work
I have been adding acoustic treatment to my lounge (where the home cinema is), and have had success with foam acoustic tiles to the back wall to tame reflections which improves dialogue clarity and bass traps to corners that made the subwoofers much more integrated with the other speakers. Now taking advice, that dealing with left and right wall first reflections is a good thing, I used the mirror method and a mathematical method to determine where the first reflection points were for the three front speakers and three seating positions on the sofa. Both methods agreed and all points fell within a two foot (61cm) horizontal space. I then used another maths formula to determine that only the right wall needed treatment. The problem was that this area was a window. As acoustic treatments for walls is not practical or attractive for windows I was looking for something else and it looked like these Soundwave Squares might do the job. They arrived and they stood on the window sill in front of the blind so did not need permanent fixing so I was halfway there.Unfortunately, these do not have any effect. Acoustic treatment should have some effect not necessarily good, could be bad. I tried one square, both squares horizontally and both vertically. I tried with the receivers Audyssey EQ off and on. After two days of trying I had to accept defeat.I think they are just too thin, the general recommendation is a minimum of 2 inches (5cm) thick and while this material is corrugated and the surface area is 2 or 3 times greater the actual thickness is about ¼ inch (6mm). The user instructions and the Leggero website does not contain any measurement data about the acoustic properties of this material.

Worked as expected once I had them glued back together. Both foam inserts were torn away from their cardboard frames on arrival and considering they were £40 I thought they would have been better quality. I would have really liked to get another two as well but not so sure now.

PIZZABOX AROUND THE FOAM! Don’t buy!
Foam in a pizza box, loocked like a nice frame on the picture. But no, this is REALLY not what it looks like 😂 I just have to laugh. What idiot want to have pizza boxes on the wall!!!! Shame on the sellers!

I tried these out within my home studio setting, and they really made a difference to the absorption of sound. My wife complains a lot less about the bass coming through the walls now! Definitely worth getting these!

More versatile and attractive than standard foam panels
These sound absorbing panels make a change from the standard foam ones, they are aesthetically more pleasing. They are also really versatile - you can stand them in their own frames behind your speakers to cut down on reflections from the wall behind, or arrange them around a mic or instrument when recording to cut down on flutter echoes and excess room reverb. You can move them about depending on whether you are recording or monitoring, and if you travel to record elsewhere then they are very light and portable.Your other option is to fasten them to the wall, and this can easily be done with panel pins as they are so light yet rigid. Avoids the need to use spray glue which is what people often do with the foam panels. They also look smarter on your wall in the frames than the usual squares of foam.I found them to be very effective, especially as I am recording in quite a small room with lots of hard surfaces which can cause problems when recording. I haven't tried it, but they would also be good in a home cinema environment and wouldn't look out of place on the wall in a smartly done out room.My slight worry, and the reason it's not quite 5 stars, is I wonder about the longevity of the frames (which are made of a sturdy cardboard) if you move them around a lot, and they are not the cheapest solution out there. But apart from that they work and look very much as described so I'm pretty happy with them, plus the versatility of being able to use free-standing or wall mounted out of the box is a great feature.
