Oh what fun ...OK so its noisy ...it would be its whipping up the foam ....does every thing it says it will ...leaves a snow deposit that looks great as you look out the window....its taken me two years of indecision to get to the point of buying this and the child in me wishes I'd bought it sooner

It does recreate a snow effect but it doesn't work for very long and needs topping up too often.

We had an option to spend £60 for some add-on activities with the entertainer for my son's 6th birthday party.... decided to buy this instead and WOW was it worth it: the kids absolutely loved it!!I've seen some reports saying it has a 5m+ arc - this is definitely possible, if it is mounted 2m+ up and at a slight upward angle. Probably more like 3m, if used by hand, from hip height angling the unit up slightly. Also quite a blast coming out of it, so you can't just put it on a barstool and leave it as somebody will catch a facefull. Either needs to be mounted on an oscillating platform (high up, so you can't blast people in the face) or it can be hand-held.Very reasonable volume of "snow" (foam), but you need to rotate it back and forth to get any real coverage.... it looks moderately snow-like when it is being whipped around in a breeze / falling to ground... but once it lands, it is very clearly foam, not snow.Know what you're buying and the limitations and the party (and/or kids) will have a great time! We've used it several times now and it never fails to amuse.

We use this machine every day in our Christmas shop - brilliant with the kids.

please do not buy this item, its a death trap, sparks and fire coming out the plug, its cheap and not even earthed through the power plug.

Was pleased with the effect of the snow, our little grandson thought it was real when he woke up Christmas morning.. Can't wait for next Christmas now to do it all again!

All started well, but after a while the machine but out...for what reason we don't know. However, it is now working again, so probably it was our fault, rather than the machine's!
