Wynn's Car Brake & Clutch Cleaner Spray For Cleaning and Degreasing - 500ml

I used this on oil stains on my wife's outfit, it works a charm. Used it more than once now and it now sits in the lawndry cupboard. Other than that, great product.

Wow! Great Value for money. My engine was a bit oily from a access plug leak. This stuff tore through it in no time. Initially I was a little disappointed at having to buy 4 cans minimum but I'm now very glad I did. This tore through the old baked on oil residues and left the engine area super clean. Word of warning though is not to use this in hot engine bay areas and to ensure it has all evaporated before starting up anything that will get hot. It's a strong solvent based cleaner so treat it with respect and it will do you well!

Does the job

I’ve found this Wynn’s Brake & Clutch Cleaner to be a useful product for general mechanical cleaning tasks. The spray makes it easy to apply to awkward areas and it works well for removing grease, oil and dirt from brake components and other metal parts. The 500ml can is a convenient size for keeping in the garage or toolbox without taking up too much space. I like that it evaporates away without leaving an obvious residue, which is exactly what I want from this type of cleaner. The spray action is helpful when cleaning around small parts and tight areas, although it can be used up fairly quickly if you’re tackling larger, heavily contaminated components. Having good ventilation and using it carefully is important, as with most workshop cleaning sprays. For occasional maintenance and cleaning jobs, this is a handy product to have available. It does what I expect from a brake and clutch cleaner and the aerosol format makes it simple to use. I’d consider buying it again for smaller jobs where a full-size container isn’t needed.

This spray will remove any grease, oil or gunk from anything, I buy it to clean my cycle chain and cassette and the brushes I use to clean them with. It will even get dirty oil out of clothing before washing. This is a must for anybody who likes to keep their cycle chain like new so it lasts. Better than muck off.

Worked very well on brakes and cleaning out clogged up intercooler hoses on my land rover - very pleased and will always keep some of this in my garage from now on

Does what it says

Sometimes you need something that bit extra to do a job, sometimes its something you would never have dreamt about using! Well, this is just the case with Wynns Brake and Clutch Cleaner. As a Graphic Designer, I end up doing all sorts of jobs. Currently, I have been involved with Re-liverying a range of Ford Transit vans for a client. This required for the CHROME Transit lettering to be removed from the Tailgate. Removal was straightforward - But, the GLUE that was used would not clean up, it was a sticky mess. I tried the obvious first choices; Lighter fluid - Failed, White spirits - Failed, WD40 - Failed, Trico-acotone - Failed! An on-site engineer suggested using Brake Degreaser, as they used it for everything! I did and it DID! Job Done... So you can use it for many more situations than its intended for, but obviously check it out on a small area first in case it causes more damage than good. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS! Ended up buying 3 cans, one given back to the engineer for giving me his can, which I ended up using up.

My brakes were squeaking all the time from the dust and dryness in the environment. Sprayed my brakes and they are squeak free now!
