Metal Earth Marvel Mjolnir Thor's Hammer 3D Metal Model Kit Fascinations

This was a stocking filler for my partner and he loved it. As it was the 1st he had to improvise with tools but for his next 1 he has bought a set if mini pliers. It looks great when done but tricky without the right tools.

Great item ideal for Christmas

Super fiddly to do but really fun and great details. Only bad thing is one of the pieces snapped as I was bending it (not a problem though as it’s hidden when put together)

Love the details, every small piece as and incredible detail. After assembled it just look amazing

Crap. If you get this as a gift for someone, they will not be able to make it unless they use glue to fix all the bits that break off at the perforated sides (which are meant to stay in place). Also, you’ll need tiny hands as the parts are tiny and difficult to attach. I gave up, as it was breaking constantly, and I was gentle and have made models before. Absolute rubbish, avoid.

This comes in flat pack.. I was surprised how it's packed and it's size, I thought it would be bigger. However it's a stocking filler for my son.. so I've not opened it.

My son and I put this together and was our first metal earth kit. We both really enjoyed putting this hammer together. We used pliers and a pocket knife. We did wish the hammer was silver like the photos. Oh, for the next to last step we did use one drop of superglue on the handle and it did make it more stable. We will be getting another one next month!

Overall easy to assemble. The small pieces does need some extra effort to put in place, but it's fun. Instructions could be a bit better in some areas so there is less guessing. Which there could be more details and a better way to keep the hammer in place.
