Bosch Corded Brush Cutter AFS 23-37

I am very happy with this Bosch brush cutter. It is powerful, easy to use, and cuts thick grass and weeds without any problems. The build quality is excellent, and it feels strong and reliable. It makes garden work much easier. I highly recommend this product.

I had neglected a large patch of ground opposite my home for several years and it had become overgrown with brambles and weeds, way too much for me to manage with my strimmer and hand tools. What I needed was a reasonably priced brush cutter, preferable one that could double-up as a powerful strimmer, which I could use for dual-purposes and after checking out what was available decided on the Bosch AFS 23-37. Not too expensive and made by Bosch, a first class company manufacturing great gear, which I always look out for when buying electrical equipment like fridges, drills, vacuum cleaners etc. Never had anything designed or made by Bosch fail me. Assembly was pretty simple and today I finally decided to give it a go. Wow! The Bosch brush cutter chopped through woody brambles and young bamboos like a hot knife through butter! I could hardly believe what quick work this gadget made of everything, altogether better and more efficient than I could have ever imagined, chopping everything off at ground level in the blink of an eye. With its help I cleared the big patch of brambles and young bamboos in less than an hour and forty-minutes of that was spent by me raking up and disposing of what I had cut off! Great all round. What more can I say. Delighted. I will mention that the Bosch, because it has a very powerful 950w electric motor, might be a bit weighty for some but, thanks to the adjustable harness supplied with it, which transfers most of the weight of the tool from the arms to the shoulders, shouldn't present any problems for the averagely strong. Elderly, frail or generally muscularly weaker people however might find the Bosch a bit too much of a beast to use successfully for long. The Bosch AFS 23-37 is a first class tool, has a three-year guarantee if you register the tool online, and can be purchased hereabouts at a bargain price. If you are looking for a really powerful electrical combination strimmer and brush cutter, equal to or better than many a petrol equivalent, and are strong enough to wield it in anger, so to speak, my advice would be for you to consider it.

Really liked using this. I'd never used even a strimmer before, but this was quite fun to use! And more importantly, it was super effective at scything through a mass of brambles that had taken over part of my garden. Only negative for me was assembly of the handle, which wasn't explained at all in the documentation provided - I only figured out how to assemble it after eventually finding a single Youtube video that showed this part. Most others skipped over it. It can also be quite heavy depending on your physical state and how long you're using it for. I'm in my 30s so it wasn't too bad even when using it for around 45m-1h, but I imagine if you're much older, then you'd probably have to use it in shorter bursts. As mentioned initially though, the most important aspect of this sort of product is how effective it is at doing it's primary purpose, and this is amazing at cutting through large amounts of weeds/brambles, so I would definitely recommend it for anyone that needs a product to do that!

Well, what can I say about this machine! Ive purchased several strimmers over the years and have been so disappointed at the lack if ability to cope with my huge garden. Only petrol strimmers seem to have the power needed to clear it right back, until this bad boy! Wow! Its super easy to assemble which was good for me. It is quite weighty so if youre low on strength it will prove a little tiresome. The wires for the grass and light weed lasted through cutting the whole front lawn, thats a rarity and proves its strength and capacity unlike other strimmers. The blade for the heavy denser areas like bramble etc cut through everything like butter which again, was an absolute dream for me having so much frustration around strimmers. The shaft can be adjusted to suit your height requirements so you are able to stand tall believe me, the power of this thing you need your posture to be right, its so heavy. Overall, this machine delivers the clout and performance of a petrol strimmer without the need to faff around with petrol and oil. It normally takes me hours to clear my back garden if I dont keep on top of it but this was so fast clean and precise it is absolutely, without doubt the best purchase ive made with regards to my garden. Bosch have never been a company to deliver inadequate tools and are always going that one better, believe me they did with this product. Im so so happy with it.

I bought this to tackle the weeds and brambles at my son’s new house. They were up to my waste and pretty very thick. The tool was easy to put together and the brush cutting blade sliced through some very tough stuff easily. I switched to the strimming wire, which is much better than the cheap stuff I used on my old machine, and that was great too. This tool has saved me hours of work and I’d recommend you get one. I paid £105 and it is worth every penny.

Should have bought one of these ages ago. Ok it’s wired not cordless, but the power is amazing, slices through thick undergrowth with ease, fantastic. Should say some sort of safety eyewear is essential when using this though as it does tend to spit stuff everywhere at high speed, if you have an overgrown garden to clear though this is the tool for the job.

The Bosch AFS 23--37 is another brilliant product from bosch... All my work tools are bosch.. Bosch is by far the best made very durable all there products..simply the best... I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who's looking to do a bit of strimmeing... Very easy to put the line wire in for it just clips in very easy with extra wires in the safety handle... From my house to my garden... I just take out my 50 meter extention lead and bobs your uncle very easy to us with it hanging on your shoulder... It gives the grass a good short cut for the lawnmower... And the blade that comes with the BOSCH AFS 23-37 is so easy and quick to fit... It's the first time I bought a electric strimmer.. Must say the big difference is after a day of using the strimmer... I go back into my house not smelling of petrol which is amazing...it's just a matter of getting grass of you with no petrol smells... The BOSCH AFS 23-37 has another awesome thing I love and that is its not a noisey petrol which would be annoying to most people... I'm so glad I bought the strimmer I can see it lasting me a long time for BOSCH is known for its long lasting power.. All BOSCH products are so well put together... So I know when I'm buying a BOSCH it's a product that will last me a long time.. My power hand Drill is just another example of pure brillants.... I've 2 batteries for it and when charged it's very strong and keeps that strength up for hours especially using the hammer feature on it it's awesome... Back to the strimmer there's a battery version there's a battery....version I might consider buying to get to places in my garden over 50 meters I'm glad I bought the electric version exactly the same both are brilliant products.. Another really good thing about the BOSCH AFS 23 -37 is that it's a fast working machine cuts so fast and precise than most petrol strimmers... I've owned petrol strimmers over the years they always break down... The main problems are the more you use it over the years have to pull really hard and fast to get going... Also what is really annoying for a petrol strimmer is sometimes by mistake can put in the wrong amount of 2 stroke oil in.. And that leads to the engine over heating and dieing out its the same with a chainsaw... I've noticed that the BOSCH AFS 23 -37 doesn't over heat so there's no worries there about dieing out or oil and not noisy..So foke there's my review on the BOSCH AFS 23 -37 I really do recommend getting this if your thinking of buying a strimmer the petrol and battery versions are equally as brilliant.. My choice is this electric one... BOSCH I also like is the green I think the colour of BOSCHS products stand out for the rest... With that colour makes all BOSCHS products look professional I give this product all five stars for light weight easy to assemble and very easy to use.....I put the rest to my neighbour he's got a petrol strimmer it's not a BOSCH.. We both started strimmeing at the same time.. In an hours time I'd covered twice of what his was cutting.. Also the BOSCH left a nice clean and even surface... Now that my neighbour has seen what my BOSCH can do he's wanting to buy one which is a good call... I didn't even need to talk my neighbour into buying the BOSCH AFS 23 -37.. He and his wife seen what it can do the performance.. My neighbour was telling me yesterday on the phone that he bought a BOSCH strimmer I was happy for him and his wife for I know they won't get the problems of having to much 2 stroke in it or it overheating and the noise of the petrol engines anit that pleasent for the ears.. When I was out looking for a new strimmer I new that when I seen BOSCH I new it was the best of the best when coming to performance last ability... I know this product will last me many of years for its a BOSCH.. Bosch is the best sports car when it comes to hardware machines... I hope me review on this lovely BOSCH strimmer gives you the idea and makes you happy with strimmeing for many years... I've a long drive way I was thinking the electric Strimmer wouldn't be able to do what a petrol strimmer could do.... How wrong was I not onto is in not noisy it's faster dose a perfect job... If you're still not sure I suggest to try one out from a friend that has one or even ask at a hardware store.. This BOSCH AFS 23 -37 still is a piece of great craftsmanship and ingenuity.. I've been using strimmers over the years and BOSCH is by far the best strimmer product I've ever set eyes on

This thing desimates overgrown gardens. I was sick of replacing cords in my other one so decided to buy a heavy duty one. Very powerful. It's obviously heavier than normal ones but comes with a shoulder strap. Easy to change the cord as it's just clip in and out. It's a bit more costly but worth every penny

De momento solo he probado el cable de acero, no el disco, pero muy bien, quita las malas hierbas de forma rotunda. Muy buena calidad. Se hace algo pesado al cabo de un rato de uso, pero es algo normal.

Ich habe den AFS 23-37 bestellt.Leider bakam ich nur ein Paket Fäden dafür.Nach einer Reklamation kam 2 Tage später das Gerät. Fehler können passieren,das Problem wurde sehr schnell gelöst. Ich habe den AFS 23-37 mit Faden und Messer probiert. Mit dem Faden habe ich 3 Stunden hohes Gras gemäht.Auch starke Brennnesseln und ab und zu eine Brommbeerranke sowie gelegentlich ein Maulwurfhügel waren kein Problem.Ein Faden hat die 3 Stunden durchgehalten, auch wenn er etwas kürzer geworden ist. Das Messer hat problemlos dickes Brommbeergestrüpp weggehauen. Selbst eine 2cm Dicke Esche hat es geschafft.

Brilliant product, far more powerful than its size suggests. The wire is also strong enough to cut through thick, mature weeds. I have only had it for a week, but so far I am very impressed and delighted with my purchase. Ity the job I had hoped it would, has done exactlfor a fraction of the price I expected to pay.

Ottimo. Forse il migliore tagliaerba elettrico. Molto potente, i cavi di taglio in dotazione durano molto e se ne trovano compatibili a basso prezzo, ma ho intenzione di provare con un cavo in acciaio o vecchio cavo freno e testarne la resistenza. Non ho ancora provato la lama rotante. Che dire, un piccolo mostro, non scalda, lo uso con una prolunga bipolare di 30 metri da 2mm e va alla grande. Meglio per comodità di uno a motore. Taglia erbacce di ogni dimensione. L'ho trasportato in aereo in stiva, ogni parte è smontabile con una chiave a brugola, i meccanismi di trasmissione sono robusti. Consigliatissimo.
