Skin Doctors Ingrow Go Lotion, Anti-Ingrown Hair Treatment, Prevents and Reduces Ingrown Hairs after Shaving or Waxing, Legs, Bikini Line, Underarms, Face, 120 ml

I never ever write reviews but this product has been life changing for me. I have struggled with ingrown hairs on my bikini line for YEARS - I have tried everything from shaving, waxing, laser, even opting to pluck sometimes because I was so desperate to get rid of them and felt so insecure when summer came around when it was time to get in a bikini. I have tried every other lotion and cream that is out there and advertised to help get rid of ingrown hairs, and again nothing ever worked. I bought this about 6 weeks ago now and all I can say is WOW. It works so quickly and all of my ingrown hairs are pretty much non existent now. You do have to keep using it to ensure that they don’t come back, but it is so worthwhile for me to just feel so much for confident in myself. I don’t have very sensitive skin so I do apply it on a cotton pad in the morning and in the evening, everyday, as I find that this works best for me - now, it does burn quite badly but only up to about 45 seconds I find - it isn’t intolerable and I find standing infront of a fan for the 45 seconds makes it much easier lol. I now pair this with a bikini line wax and use 24 hours after and it pretty much leaves you with no waxing bumps or ingrown hairs at all. I only ever apply on the top part of my bikini line and wouldn’t suggest using this on the real intimate areas as I can imagine it isn’t suitable. All I can say is please try this if you struggle like I used to!!!

This is the first review I've done for Amazon, and I must have bought hundreds of items off Amazon! Firstly I want to say that I mainly use this product for razor bumps, the redness and irritation following shazing rather than ingrown hair, although I get that from time to time too. I felt I had to leave a review just because razor bump hair is the one thing that makes me feel very self concious and particularly bothers me and is EXTREMELY unsightly if I don't do anything about it! In the past I have used a great number of creams and lotions, from anti baby rash cream to ingrow hair remover lotion and mens specialist aftershaving lotions to general moisturing the area (bikini area) - nothing works in the slightest, which is most disheartening! However, after using this product, I have found my miracle treatment and feel compelled to write so that anyone suffering from same problem knows there is a solution out there! Some people complain about stinging and flakey skin - tbh this never even crossed my mind, but I must admit there is SOME stinging and perhaps slight drying of skin, but you only need to moisturise after using! It didn't even occur to me as a problem before reading the other reiews just now. I often stop using this product and immediately notice the unsightly razor bumps, ingrow hair etc all comes back; as soon as I restart using, it disappears again. So it is definitely this product doing the trick!! Although I must say the redness etc never goes 100% clear beautiful and smooth but virtually completely gone, and restores my 100% confidence in my self. (Although maybe if I used it without a break, it would be 100% beautiful...!) I would highly recommend you give it a try - it is not that expensive and lasts a long time, probably at least 6 months of regular use, maybe even up to a year+ (I've had my 120ml bottle for around a year using it roughly 3-4 times a week) I would recommend you use it about 2 days before and 2 days after shaving. If this doesn't work for you I really hope you find something else that does! :-)

Having had problems with ingrowing bikini line hairs for a couple of years, I decided to try the Skin Doctors product. It did have a rather strong smell, but the smell was not noticable after about half an hour. I used it twice a day, after exfoliating first, then after a week I reduced application to once every two days. It did cause slightly dry skin in the area, but exfoliating in the shower solved that problem. It definately makes the removal of stubborn hairs much easier, and four weeks later there is a noticable improvement. It has not completely solved the problem, but I would recommend it, on the basis that I do not think anything on earth would completely solve the ingrowing hair issue, but any improvement is a bonus.

I never review anything I buy, but I wanted to write my thoughts on this. I moved from shaving waxing about a year ago (in my 30s). I’ve never had rashers, bumps or ingrown hairs with shaving, until I moved to waxing. About 4 weeks ago after my last wax it’s the worst it’s been, super itchy and loads of ingrown hairs. It was starting to make me feel so self conscious and I was startling to panic coming into summer with holidays. I searched on Amazon for a ingrown hair product and thought I’d give this a go, I didn’t really get the instructions tbh so I just popped some of the solution on 4 cotton pads and swiped it over my bikini area. I’ve been only using this a week, I’ve done the 4 cotton pads once a day for the full week and honestly it’s night and day the difference. The ingrown hairs have gone, the rash/redness and any discolouration I had all gone too in literally 7 days. This product has genuinely worked wonders. I’d 100% recommend it to anyone with the same issues I had, it’s awesome!!

Amazing for ingrown hair reduction. Dont let the reviews of burning put you off...yes it feels a little tingle for less then a minute when first applied and might feel different for everyone depending on sensitivity. I literally pop a generous amount on a cotton ball after showering, regardless of wether I shaved or not, and rub it all along bikini line for about 30 second. Repeat and do other side. Ingrown hairs have reduced by 90% which i think it great!

This probably is a good product but after 3 days use on my bikini line and inner thighs my skin started peeling. It does burn when applied but it was only for a few minutes so no big deal. A big no for me and I was hopeful. Day 9 and skin finally finding it’s way back to normality after a lot of exfoliating

I noticed my skin peeling within 2- 21/2 weeks of using the product. I used it twice a day. I wasn't sure how much to use but I finished the whole bottle in that 2- 21/2 week time period. The skin peeling was extreme, so I'd recommend you wear pants if you're going to go out. During that flaking period I lightly dry brushed my skin to loosen up the flakes. Like I said, I ran out of the product right when it started to really work. I would have kept going but I had to re-order and it took longer to arrive the second go around. I ordered a 3-pack the second time and am still using it twice a day. There has been no more flaking so I think my legs have improved as much as they are going to. My legs are A LOT smoother than they used to be. I am very pleased with the product. I was hoping that it would lighten up my "strawberry skin" (darker pigmented hair follicles) since some others mentioned that it did that for them. But, my bumps are gone and I can't complain. I've used a few methods to get rid of my KP/chicken/strawberry skin-- Amlactin, dry brushing, oils, etc. and none of those helped at all. I plan on using it on my elbow/upper arm area next. I'll wait until the winter though so I can hide the flaking.
