Night Vision Monocular Attaches!!!!
I’ve had this night vision monocular installed on top of my rifle on a picatinny rail. Since it weighs down my rifle quite a bit, I decided to use it on a camera tripod. Problem solved with the Yueoct 2 in1 finder mounting adapter. It has picatinny dovetail and an 11mm scope dovetail. My night vision monocular uses the picatinny dovetail. The 1/4" threaded hole is a perfect match for my quick release camera mount on the tripod. Now, I can have my night vision monocular on a stand-alone tripod ready to sight targets.I’ve combed the internet for weeks. This is the only one that exists of its kind! Well made and well done Yueoct!!!

Junk
The media could not be loaded. Review Updated after receiving a replacementJunk & replacement Junk. ( twice)Right out of the box, sealed.#1 The adapter wiggles by +- 10 deg. Which at 100 yards, will give you about 35 yards of yaw...If you plan on shooting a blue whale at 20 feet, that might do it ...Let's just take a look at the video ....#2 ( Replacement item )This time the adapter only wiggles by about +- 4 deg. At 10 yards, that's enough to yaw left to right over the entire target (10" diameter) with 2 inches on each side.( FYI, No, the screw is not loose, and I am not fixing something brand new. For that there is something called Quality Control, or Loctite threadlocker )

Well made, but some issues.
Well made accessory, and the integrated narrow finder scope mount is a bonus, but as mentioned in other reviews there are no slots to accommodate the cross-bolt mounts found on most red dot sights made for Picatinny rails. I used a Dremel to lay in some grooves for the cross bolts, and it works fine- once the bolts have clearance it's the rail that the mount aligns with, and the grooves are hidden from view once you mount something. This mod also maintains function of the narrower finder scope mount if needed. So, the product is nice, but depending on your intended use you might have to modify it, and many common uses will require it.

Hook up well with red light laser
It took me a while to find the correct adapters for the red light laser to be connected to Nikon. High quality and worth the money.

Sturdy well Built
This is a well built product, very sturdy. That being said, I returned it because I found it to be unsatisfactory for my usage. I use a red dot scope on my camera for taking photos of birds in flight. It is much easier to track them using the red dot than looking thru the viewfinder. The problem with this adapter is that the rail on top is too short when the adapter is mounted into the hot shoe, and I cannot slide the red dot far enough forward on the rail itself. This means that when I want to use the camera for something other than birds and look thru the viewfinder, the scope is to far back and is hitting my forehead. Taking the scope off would mean that I would have to readjust and realign it every time when I go back to shooting birds. This would be a great adapter if the rail on top was longer.

Nicely made
The downside is that it has no cross slots for Picatinny clamp screws. Not too hard to cut or file one, but not so pretty afterwards. Probably fine for a finderscope on the narrow rail, but most red dots are Picatinny mount and those need a cross groove to mount correctly.
