Hallmark 2-Movie Collection: SnowComing & Baby, It's Cold Inside

Snow Coming is a soft cozy romance with plenty of intimate conversations that are overlaid with calming music. I felt that this movie in particular has the most romantic "moments" of any Hallmark movie I've seen lately. Each time Jake and Samantha are on screen it is magical.The story is that Jake fought for Samantha's love and won it once. Now he messed up and 12 years later he's back in the picture and obviously falling for Samantha again. Nearly every interaction Jake and Samantha are involved in either makes you smile, makes your heart warm or you are laughing or crying. Even simple things like holding hands renews the magic of loving someone you've been separated from for a while. You can tell even though Samantha was really hurt by Jake, they both have feelings for each other.When watching this movie it is best to have plenty of Bear claws, S'mores, hot chocolate, warm vegetable soup (I made a cream of chicken) and chocolate cake. It seems Jake knows how to make a chocolate cake and Samantha approves of the icing she licks off her finger. Nice! This man seems like a keeper to me.Since Jake is a NFL quarterback he is well known in his home town and Samantha feels like she can't compete for his attention. Plus he's living at her house and her dad has to know that is awkward.Some fun things happen that make you laugh out loud. These two get up to all sorts of mischief like decorating the coaches home room at the high school. The coach himself is quite a witty dad and everyone loves coach Kerrigon.Miss Alice the librarian has a secret she doesn't yet want to share so that story evolves along with the romance between Jake and Samantha. How will these two successful people ever end up in the same place. They are home now but can they stay there with the media starting to hound them?Baby It's Cold Outside is a great story about an Ice Hotel. The travel agent who arrives has no idea how she is going to create chaos but also help to solve the problems. At one point she hilariously gets a maple syrup popsicle stuck to a hotel critics' hat and then he gets his sticky fingers glued to his hair.The ice hotel co-owner of course starts to have a crush on this damsel in distress who can pick herself back up and help rectify the situations. She keeps getting chance after chance and seems to be getting more capable as the vacation progresses. Miss Universe Canada is also in this movie and plays the best friend.The viewer knows the hotel critic is there and the travel agent knows him well too. She's helped him plan many vacations to warmer locations. Now that she's stuck reviewing an Ice Hotel herself she starts to think maybe there is a future in staying.Unfortunately several things happen which make her lose her confidence.Will the travel agent go home alone and take on her job more seriously and get a promotion or will she long to stay with Ben who obviously shares a great chemistry and life goal with her.The only thing about this particular movie is that a boyfriend comes to stay with his girlfriend and steals the show at the end. It is never shown that they are in the same ice hotel room but it is just implied. They also go in a hot tub together but that is not shown.So if you are looking for two movies that are proper and descent and have very little kissing then you may enjoy these romps in the snow. The Ice Hotel is well worth seeing.Food to have on hand include: Hot drinks like tea and maybe some crackers and cheese. Or some Scandinavian foods. When I watch these movies a second time I will prepare more treats because you will get hungry looking at all the delicious food, cookies, hot chocolate, the list goes on...~The Rebecca Review

I really like them

Snowcoming is one of my favorite movies. I was very happy to see this finally come to DVD. It's about a Football star returning to his hometown. I don't give summaries of the stories because I think it takes away from your chance to enjoy it.Baby, It's Cold Inside is one I have not seen all the way through as of yet. What I did see I liked and enjoyed. I look forward to finishing the movie.

Wonderful movie - SnowComing. Trevor Donovan is terrific. It came out on a set of 3 movies in Fall of 2021.
