Despite the tanks being EMPTY, this torch set is still a really good deal. At least it was when I caught it on sale. 😉Go price those tanks real quick. Those sets that don't include tanks aren't such a great deal now, are they?It cost me about $70 to have them both filled at a local hardware store (HD doesn't deal with Acetylene). The holder is really important for being able to safely transport them without having to worry about your 4,000 PSI ace tank falling over and giving you a real hot ride!I mean really, considering the relatively high volatility of ace and the risk you run if the connections are bad or a line blows due to being poorly-made, you have to be out of your mind to cheap out on your oxy-ace torch kit. Any savings you may get from a discount kit will be evaporated instantly by the bill you'll receive from your local ER in a couple of week's time.This one is high quality, works great, and does everything possible to ensure that your skin remains the color it's supposed to be.

Tanks are DOT approved which is good, but the gauge set is cheap. Difficult to set the pressures.

Both gauges went bad after second filled rank set. Regulation was weird as sometimes the pressure went high to low and back to high when adjusting at the torch, was never consistent. All I'll say is you get what you pay for. Unfortunately can't return as the one place here only exchanges tanks, so I don't have the original tanks to return this junk.
