Bluetooth for the car & home - cost effectively!
Great product! I have bought 2 of these. One for the car and the other for the home ( which I am using with my home hifi system ). I stream music and calls (occasionally) via my iPhone. For the home, I use this device with RCA cables (which connect to my amplifier) - male pins - on one end. And a female aux socket on the other end. This product then connects to the female aux socket!I find this solution a very cost effective way of converting my old hifi system to Bluetooth (total cost ~ £24 for cables & two of these Bluetooth devices). Great product!The only improvement ("nice to have feature") I would suggest for this product is an "on/off" switch for home use. I currently use my my mains socket for this purpose. The device powers on and pairs with my iPhone. I only had to pair my iPhone to this device once (during setup). For the car - the "on/off" switch is not needed, as it powers up and pairs once you connect the USB to the cigarette lighter power source. This improvement suggestion is academic, as I am using a car device for the home. And is more "a nice to have" feature!

good idea poorly executed
nice bluetooth receiver let down by poor audio quality.connects to the car no problem.only issue and its a big one,is that the volume from the device is quite low,even with the phone turned up full its never quite loud enough.other reviewers have mentioned the same problem.have since bought a similar item off ebay and the difference is night and day in overall quality and outright volume.if music is bad,using it for handsfree phone calls is even worse.cant recommend this device as there are plenty of better devices out there.

Best thing I got for my car
I have a BMW 5 series e60. My car has a usb port and aux jack in the central compartment which is hidden and I have stuck it next to the idrive button. It works amazingly once connected. But I have noticed that this thing continues to flash once I have disconnected and turned the car off and locked it.It does not have a power button to turn off which would have been great as it would safely reassure me that it wont drain my car battery overnight.... for the moment I have to open my compartment up and pull the USB cable out.UPDATE: It switches off auto matically after 2mins of not being connected!All in all great little item and stupid 50 cant stop you and say your using your phone as it works great with siri with the built in mic, and changing track is easy as using my idrive

Great for the price
Seems great, sound quality via Bluetooth is not as good as plugging the Aux lead directly into the phone, so probably not good enough for listening to good quality music in my humble opinion. but perfect for calls or podcasts. - but considering "branded" ones of these are much much more costly, I am happy with this product.

Waste of money
The audio quality is terrible - sounds like mono when bluetooth from my phone to the home hifi - so bad that I have to turn it off...

Can't stand wear and tear
Worked great for a few months but then built in battery died and stopped working, but still getting power would not operate.
