Made a perfect present

I have recently had major surgery and during my recovery I had a big hit of both boredom and nostalgia and started looking at Lego Star Wars sets. I am a huge Star Wars fan but haven't played with Lego since being a kid. I didn't want to spend loads on a huge set in case I didn't enjoy it this time round so I chose Yoda's Jedi Starfighter. I got this on offer for around half the price of RRP but I would still recommend it at full RRP, it is a great vehicle set on the smaller side. As an adult, the "play" features aren't a priority for me but the sprung loaded blasters on the front are a nice touch. Yoda and his lightsaber are included and can sit inside of the ship, and also R2, who sits in the back. Build time for me was about an hour and 5 minutes I was both conflicted with wanting to finish it to get to the final build and not wanting it to end! I've already ordered 2 bigger sets and would recommend this set as a great value build, for both kids and adults alike.

This set is brilliant! As a huge Star Wars fan, I always love a Lego Star Wars Set and this one has impressed. It is a great ship to build and included Yoda and R2-D2 minifigures. The set is very exciting to build and will be played with for hours even after it’s built. Overall great set and highly recommend.

As can be seen from many of my other reviews I’m very much a Lego and Star Wars geek, and unashamedly so. I’ve only been collecting sets though since April 2015, but I’ve acquired many since then. I don’t buy them as investments, I buy them to build once and display forever. Half of the enjoyment for me is the build, the other half is seeing them dotted about the house. This review is for Yoda’s Jedi Starfighter, a craft from the Clone Wars series. It’s a bit of an unusual purchase for me as I tend to stick to craft from the motion pictures rather than spin-off series. I warm more to those classic ships I’ve seen for many years. That said, this is a decent addition to the series and a reasonable Lego build, and the biggest draw is perhaps that it includes mini figures of Yoda himself and R2-D2. The ship is a straightforward build which was completed in under an hour, factoring in interruptions such as the Grand Prix that was on telly at the time. If you’ve owned a number of Lego Star Wars ships then it’s possible you’ll notice similarities between this and Tie Advanced which shares a number of components. I did have a little sense of de-ja-vu as I was building it, anticipating what was to come. On the whole, it’s a pretty good set and will appeal to many. Where it falls down a little in similarity to other sets it benefits with the mini figures and the overall value.

At the time of writing, this set it £16.00, which is cheep for a Lego Star Wars set. Including both Yoda and R2D2 to make the deal even sweeter. This was a much gratefully received Christmas gift for my grandson. He's really into Star Wars and the product was just as described. I always feel lego is a great (and lasting) gift and this one didn't disappoint.

Excellent star wars lego. Boys love it. Very steady structure. Needs to be assembled by 10 years and older as it needs to be able to use technical force to join them and get the new build insurance :)

Vorweg: Ich habe das Set nicht für mich sondern für meinen Freund bestellt, der mittlerweile 25 Jahre alt ist. Er mag Star Wars und wollte sich einfach mal wieder als Kind fühlen. Mit diesem schönen Set hat es prima geklappt! Allein die Verpackung löst schön schöne Erinnerung an die Kindheit aus. Er hat ungefähr 2 Stunden gebraucht, dass Gefährt aufzubauen. Er hat zwischendurch gerne mit Yoda gespielt, deswegen diese Zeit. :-) Es ist sehr Detailgetreu und sehr schön verarbeitet. Man muss aber deutlich sagen, dass Lego seinen Preis hat, was natürlich davon kommt das Disney Lizenzen nicht günstig sein werden. Für jeden Fan ob klein oder groß ein Muss! Liebe Grüße

Bellissimo prodotto. Sicuramente la linea star wars è poco economica ma questo ha comunque un buon rapporto qualità/dimensione/prezzo. La navicella misura circa 16x18x8 cm. Come si vede dall'immagine lancia i due missili verdi dalla parte inferiore, le ali ruotano parzialmente in senso verticale, aprendosi e chiudendosi ed il portellone circolare si apre per far prendere posto al suo pilota. r2d2 è composto da 4 pezzi ma ben fatto nonostante la sua semplicità, Yoda è un normale omino ma con una grande testa in plastica morbida, oltre a essere piacevole al tatto renderà di certo più durature le lunghe orecchie, che se in plastica rigida di certo si sarebbero potute rompere con più facilità. La prima lego star wars di mio figlio cui ne seguiranno di certo altre. Lo sconto di amazon poi consente di risparmiare un pochino rispetto ai negozi. Consigliato

PROS Minifiguras de gran valor: El set incluye a Yoda (con cabeza de goma detallada y su espada láser verde) y al carismático droide R2-D2. Lo mejor es que la minifigura de Yoda tiene el tamaño de piernas cortas ideal y un nivel de impresión de torso excelente para la época. Diseño compacto pero robusto: La nave está muy bien armada estructuralmente. Soporta perfectamente el juego activo y las caídas leves sin que se desprendan piezas críticas, lo que la hace muy "jugable" (swooshable) para los niños. Grandes funciones de juego: Cuenta con una cabina abatible donde cabe Yoda perfectamente, alas plegables para adoptar la posición de vuelo o de aterrizaje, dos cañones láser orientables y dos cañones que disparan proyectiles verdes (spring-loaded shooters) mediante presión trasera. Espacio para el droide astromecánico: A diferencia de otros cazas pequeños de LEGO, este modelo incluye el hueco perfecto detrás de la cabina para encajar a R2-D2, tal y como aparece en las misiones de la serie. Fácil de exponer: Debido a sus dimensiones contenidas, es un modelo que no ocupa apenas espacio en una estantería o escritorio, luciendo genial desde cualquier ángulo. CONTRAS Uso de pegatinas: Incluye una pequeña hoja de adhesivos para añadir detalles en las alas y el capó. Aunque no son demasiados, requiere buena puntería por parte de un adulto para que queden perfectamente centrados y no afeen el acabado. Set descatalogado (Precio de coleccionista): Al ser un set lanzado originalmente en 2017, ya no se fabrica. En el mercado de reventa o stock antiguo, su precio suele estar bastante inflado en comparación con su coste de salida original. Mi experiencia real con este caza de LEGO Compré este set por mi devoción a las temporadas de The Clone Wars y me sorprendió gratamente. El mecanismo para plegar las alas es simple pero efectivo, y los colores verde oscuro y gris capturan perfectamente la estética de la República. La construcción se completa en poco menos de una hora y es muy amena debido a las técnicas que utiliza para compactar la cabina. Un clásico que complementa genial a cualquier otra nave de la colección. Consejos de uso y mantenimiento: Cuidado con los misiles: Los cañones con muelle tienen mucha fuerza y los proyectiles verdes translúcidos son delgados. Evita apuntar a la cara al jugar y, si lo vas a exponer, es recomendable quitar los proyectiles y guardarlos en una bolsita para evitar disparos accidentales que los pierdan detrás de un mueble. Limpieza del cristal de la cabina: La pieza de la cúpula de la cabina es propensa a rayarse si se guarda suelta en cajas con otros bloques. Si desmontas el set, envuelve esa pieza transparente en un trozo de papel para mantener su nitidez a lo largo de los años.
